MAC - Dress Camp Discussion

Arggg! I'm so sad! I just left the mac store in san francisco and only left with a palette and she-gold! I went there an hour ealy and they gave me a number so I was first but when it opened they were already sold out of the lipstick and fashion lipglass. I'm guessing the employees called dibs on em since they said they had six of each. Now I have 3 palettes and 2 she-golds...but no too fab and fashion...sigh..I'm probably going to end up selling a palette and a she-gold if none of my friends want it.

i just called to them to order on the phone and like you said they are soled out .
if your selling the palette and she gold how much your asking for them ??

I am so upset right now I went to Soho to get my Dress Camp palette,and lipglosses. Mind you I was there at 12:30 pm, why in the hell they sold out in 45 minutes. I really wanted to get the collection, I hope they bring it back, because the colors look really nice. I just had to vent.

So I contacted the MAC Robson store in BC at 1 PM (10 AM) there and they did have everything in stock, but the SA i spoke to said they had been getting calls since 8:30 AM and she expected their stock to be gone at some point today. So I ordered the palette, woo hoo!

Now the thing is that I have NOT received my order from Tuesday, which is very strange since I live so close to the MAC warehouse. UPS tracking info says my order is in transit since yesterday, did the truck break down?! I want my lippie! At least I wanna know i'm gonna get it, cause something tells me there aren't going to be any replacement if my package doesn't make it for some reason. I'm thinking I should have also ordered another Too Fab from the pro store just in case, I could have always sold it off later if I ended up with two I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

^^^ HAHAHA... It does just nag at you when you want something so bad & can't get a hold of it.

BTW - how hard would it be for MAC to just produce another round??? Maybe they need to get with the program & realize that their customer numbers/quantities are up

The amount of limited area release collections that MAC puts out is crazy!I mean,some of these collections should be available in more locations because a LOT of other people would definately buy these collections.It is just very frustrating.
