MAC - Dress Camp Discussion

I bought the whole collection...the zebra print was just too cute!!!

All I could afford was the lipstick, but I am thrilled to be getting it.

I am curious about the face palette, but MAC shadows and I have a love hate relationship.


So, probably good I could not get it anyway.

I have two l/g from Icon Raquel collection that are gold, so that did not attract me, and the pink gloss was pretty similar to previous releases.

Theres these gals at a store that I know..they make fun of my love of leopard print (I only wear it in calf hair shoes) They tell me that they can see me when I'm 90 coming in to shop with leopard print leggings, a black knotted shirt, grey hair in a bun, a cigarette hanging out my mouth (i don't smoke) and...my boobs hanging down to my knee caps hahahahaha I hope not! What a visual

LOL!!! That's a really funny visual!! I definitely splurged on this one -- Naughty Nauticals and the Sci-Fi collections just aren't appealing to me (which is good news to my wallet!)

I broke down and bought it!! The whole collection!! I am such a Mac addict. Mac is breaking my bank ,but I am excited about Naughty Nauticals too. AHHH I think Mac sees me comming I just love the line and enjoy make up so much! I wish they come out with one I didnt like,hahaha I doubt it!!

I'm getting Too Fab because I don't have a bright pink lipstick, and She Gold because the color is unique. I'm not sure how She Gold's going to look on my skin, but I guess I can always trade it if it doesn't work out.

FYI.. in the swatches the eyeshadows look really sheer (i applied them with the brush that came with the palette) but now i tried appliying it with my finger and they are quite pigmented, especially the copper colour and yellow

Maybe thats the normal course it take as it goes through the process. Unless your cc doesn't go through or something odd.

I called CS just to be sure about my order & it is already in process
We have to wait 2 hours though before CS can even track the order.

it's not the normal course it takes because right after i order it says "Status N/A" and then 2 hours later it always says "PROCESSING", but now it says "CHANGED". in Canada, our order status only tells us "Status N/A", "PROCESSING", or "SHIPPED". i saw "CHANGED" for the first time when heatherette came out and now it's happening again i'll call CS after lunch.

its not bad... i think alot of people would agree with me if i said the normal mac brushes are wayyy better. but this lil brush is great for on the go touch ups, like if you have the palette with you in your bag, than its great

I've just picked up the palette and am tettering on get Too Fab as well. I know I'm picking up She Gold. I did the online chat thing to see if these two would a. work together and b. look good on an NC25 complexion. The MA who did the chat said that Too Fab is a yellow based pink and would look great with a light olive complexion. It also looks great paired with She Gold she said. Who'd have thunk?

I love this lil' collection. It's so tacky that I couldn't resist . I just bought the palette online ! hehe I wasn't too sure about the gold lipglass, ehhh. I'd like to see it on someone or in person. and the pinks resemble those from the Fafi collection.

Mac makes me poor
but also makes me soooo happy

I was having a crappy day and now i'm not. it's sick how makeup can change all that. haha

I would want to see how the gold looks on the lips, & over the lipstick. The only goldish gloss I own is Garden

They may not have one for a limited collection like this. I don't think they did for Rubia, for example.

I have to admit I'm not really loving the dress camp palette. With a base the colours stand out alittle more, but I'm not in love with them.

OK, I've been more excited about this little collection than just about any of the others recently, and since I bought almost nothing from Heatherette and will likely be skipping out on most of NN and Neo Sci Fi I did something I've never done before and bought the whole collection!! I can't wait to get my Dress Camp package! I hear that MAC shipping is pretty quick, can anyone verify that?

yea, I didn't get a code either, but if you spend over $60 you get free shipping - which you prolly already know

You dont need a code if you spend 60.00 it will give you free shipping thats what I did when I ordered this morning!!
