Ok so not much has been said about this collection, due to release on October 23...anyone want to take a gander what it entails?

I looked up what "Vermillion" means and on wikipedia it says Vermillion is "an opaque orangish red pigment, used since antiquity, originally derived from the powdered mineral cinnabar". Also said it was mercuric...

Perhaps oranges and reds in this said "eye kit"?

Discuss!

I'm trying not to get excited about this since I'm guessing it will be a store exclusive and not at Macy's. But it's still nice to imagine what it could be.

i wonder what this is about. orangy red isn't exactly the most flattering eyeshadow color for most people

Maybe it just means that the packaging/bag will be red to tie in to the whole "Red" holiday theme and not the actual eye products?? I hope not... I would love a gorgeous red shadow like Mi'Lady, and a sparkling red glitter liner. Think liquid "Ruby Slippers". And maybe there will be some pretty red jewel tipped lashes!

i thought fashion eye kit is really that party bag with fluidline, mascara etc. because basically that is eye kit and i remember seeing a picture of party bag on one blog (can't remember which though, maybe kissandmakeup.tv?) and it said fashion eye kit at the bottom of the picture....

and when you look at the colour story of red she said, passion of red and little darlings, none of them includes the party bag. so i'm guessing the lipstick set will be called adoring carmine and the party bag enchanting vermillion.

Such a nice name for the party bag. But I won't be getting it... So this is the first of the holiday collection to be launched I guess.

I agree, with a name like "Enchanting Vermillion", you'd think they'd do better than putting a bunch of repromotes in a bag, right? I totally hope they're two different things!

I thought that was two totally different things.... ??? I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. I thought the party bag was just "the party bag". lol
I really hope it IS the party bag because I'm trying to save money and I'm passing on the party bag. If the Vermillion kit ends up being something fabulous that means I'll have to buy it and my funds for other collections go down the drain! haha

Yep on the Specktra Blog, if you look on the right hand side in the Upcoming Collections, it says Mermillion, but in the Collection Release Dates list it's called Vermillion...and I think kissandmakeup.tv called it Vermillion as well, so I dunno...

Exactly,what she said^^But yeah at first it was mentioned as Mermillion in the red she said thread.But I also thought that awhile back,Perfect Style(whatever that is)was to be released Oct 30,not Nov 30 as listed in the release dates.

Maybe it is the brush sets?

I think it is Vermillion, since it fits with the theme of the collection... And everything has something to do with red in the name.
