There's a couple things being repromoted that have been on my to-get list so I won't pass on those (glitters, liquidlasts, and a fluidline). I think it's kind of weird they're releasing silver stuff in a collection called Gold Fever lol. And I agree with whoever said they should repromote Uppity f/l. I think it would fit in this collection better than Silverstroke...

I'm tired of these Nordies exclusives. We don't have one around here and shipping is $8 on the site. They should at least make them available on maccosmetics.com so we can get the free shipping codes! :\ stupid nordies. I'm passing on all of this one unless it knocks my socks off. Boycotting nordies from now on. After Colour Forms of course lol

like i said in the designer collection threads, i have a feeling these will also be available at stores/and or maccosmetics.com. nordies is the only department store that gets entire collections as exclusives, and that's only during the summer, like with this year's colourforms, novel twist, tailormade, etc. they do also get exclusive quads, but those are in addition to the collection that's released everywhere.

i don't have a problem with this collection at all since the whole thing is repromotes, but the designer collections are pissing me off since they're not being released everywhere.

I agree with you & soco2010! $8 is a bit steep, especially considering that their packaging isn't so hot. Last time I bought from them I got one beauty powder in a huuuuuge box with just some brown paper in there to cushion it! What the heck?! Hopefully they'll package my Colour Forms haul better than that!!

Erine I completely agree with you.It doesn't bother me that gold fever is an exclusive,but it is just so not fair that designer collections always areIt is just that Macy's never gets a chance with any of these,except for with Heatherette.What's the point then?Half the year MAC does exclusives.

The pictures are from the MAC Gold Fever party at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in April/May 08........

This looks fun, but on another note: If any of you wonder why the quality of MAC products have diminished, it is because they take a lot of their money and pump it into events like this. Personally, I'd rather have better product formulation.
