I was not crazy about this color. It's a cream pink with a touch of coral in it. However I loved the silver polish.

Heatherette packaging is absolutely adorable, but after seeing the swatches, I'm not sure I'll be taking home anything that I just HAVE to HAVE. They are real simple colors, but it's nothing I've never seen before.

yes, you do get a discount. if you go to the pro site, and click on the collection, directly under the pic it states what you get a discount on.

for fafi, it says:
All items available with M·A·C PRO discount except: Fafi Dolls, Fafi Scarf, Fafi "T", Fafi Tote, Rectangle/M·A·C/Small and Rectangle/M·A·C/Mini.

for VG:The M·A·C PRO Discount is not available with this collection.

if it doesn't say anything, then you get a discount on all of it.

hopefully this clears things up for people.

I sent in an application for my pro-student card about two weeks ago, I really really hope it comes in tomorrow or tuesday so that I can purchase my items with a discount!! I wasn't expecting to want so many things but I think I'm gonna HAVE to buy two lipsticks, a lipglass, one eyeshadow trio and a beauty powder... blahhh too much nice stuff!

I believe that everyone is going to have VERY different release dates for this collection, so please, call your local MAC before going!

wtf i called my MAC store this a.m. and they are still listed as the 27th. I just called back 5 min ago after reading through all the post adn everyone having appointment changes and its still being released the 27th at my freestanding store!!!

My freestanding is releasing on the 20th, but they didn't have a Heatherette event, so I couldn't set up an appointment or anything. Should I try and ask to set up a Heatherette makeover appointment on the 20th instead? I know I will buy at least $50.. so yeah. Should I try asking that? Is this what people mean when they're making appointments? That there isn't necessarily an event, but they have appointments for Heatherette make-up instead? I really need to know. lol.

Yes it's true. When I was in the NYC Pro store on two separate occasions, the collections were available at least a week early.

BTW...The Heatherette shadows are SO hot wet. So freakin sexy! The video goes up on Wednesday.

they are talking about making appts for actual events (usually thurs-sat) for collection launches. these are eye/lip/cheek appts. you can make an appt for any day of the week for a full face appt and day of the week, even for heatherette, with the exception of the event days.

there are two different types of events, corporate and counter/store events.

with a corporate event, the corporate office sets the dates for all locations to have events. these are usually the same weekend everywhere, anytime from the weekend the collection launches to a few weeks later. fafi was a corporate event cause everyone had one and was assigned the days to have it.

with counter/store events, the counter/store chooses to have an event or not. if they choose to, they choose what weekend they wanna have it. heathette is a counter/store event, so some may have it, some may not, and the dates may vary. we are extending our event for the entire week, the 24th-29th, with the main focus on the 27th-29th. so you definately wanna call your location and see if they are having an event and when!

even tho we have no info yet for naughty nauticals, we are already booking for our event for may 1st-3rd, the weekend it launches. i'm not sure, but i think this is a counter/store event, and the neo sci-fi/solar field/future earth being a corporate event. again, call your location and see if they are already booking for naughy nauticals so you can reserve your spot today!

so, i got my gratis today, and i didn't get the folder everyone was talking about. some people on here were saying they thought we got it with our gratis. did anyone get it with their gratis? i could care less if i got it not, i was just curious. i think it was just for the press release tho.

I called the NY pro store and ordered my goodies, She told me my pro card would come up with my CC info. Does that sound right? I am just new to the pro card order thing, lol.
