Exactly! I love the way the collection looks! Such bright pink, something to finally appeal to most ages, and especially TEENS!

I can see it being "all the rage" to pull out a compact or lipstick like that at school! Well, they can guarentee I will get something! Especially if this collection is filled with bright colors, not neutral ones....

When I first heard that the packaging was supposed to be pink and metallic, I was all for it. But now that I see picture of the upcoming collection and the packaging is a mid-tone cream pink, I'm not feeling it so much.

I tend to be an impulse buyer, but I think I may be safe on this one and only get a few things, rather than the haul I was originally planning.

But Fafi on the other hand......Sigh, I just can't win these days.

I'm definitely interested in more information about MACs take on "pancake makeup" & how many different shades will be offered. I know Max Factor makes a water activated pancake makeup with a very matte finish & full coverage. I wonder if this will be similar.

I am not sure if this has been posted, but there is a promo image for Heatherette!!! This makes me excited, not ONLY because pink is my favorite color, that I love Heatherette..but because my name is HEATHER haha!!!

I may be wrong on this, but pancake is like a very heavy foundation that is used in plays/musicals to make the actors skin a few shades darker so it shows up in the back rows on stage. The kind I used had to be wetted first and then applied with a sponge. Basically what lethaldesign said. Oh gosh, this collection is just getting better and better! I hope there are no or very little repromotions. Otherwise, even the packaging does not justify getting it.

Even if the colors were all repromotes, I'd probably still feel the need to buy one or two or three or all of them compacts, simply because...uuum, well... it's pink and sparky, I dont need more reasons!!! I'd still want lots of nice, brand new shades, though...

it says pancake base. not face makeup. maybe they are speaking of cream eye bases... like paint pots or something. cuz mac is not doing pancake face makeup.
