I'm torn on buying back ups. I really want to buy another of everything I got (Lollipop l/s, Sock Hop l/g and Nighthawk/Front Row e/l) because I know I'll use them almost every day. The eyeliner for sure. But then I think, with the other collections coming out this year, I'll probably move on to a new obsession and then I'll have two of these things and won't need them

. What are some people's reasoning for getting back ups?

Just when I thought our orders would come atleast by Thursday
oh well saves me a trip to the mall. Would've probably ended up spending way more $$ than by just ordering online

I save my boxes too LOL. Even the regular MAC ones O_o. I'm a dork LOL. I should probably only keep the special ones but blah, whatever. I like them

i save all my boxes, but I just throw them in my traincase (which is full of boxes ><) but I do that in case I don't use a product and want to sell it.

I'm torn too, I love lollipop loving and sock hop but I'm not sure if I should pick up a backup of each or just try and find similar stuff in the regular line, or wait for newer collections as sometimes I see similar colours of lip products coming out. I just don't know. I've been burned in the past, I bought a backup of Engaging duo, and have a Tendertone and Mi'Lady and they're just sitting there, BNIB that I could try and sell but it seems like such a hassle
...so they sit.

I'm thinking I may pass just as there's so much I feel I've not tried. But I may change my mind!

YAY!!! My little 1/3 order little black box just came YAY!!!

OMG...Starlet Kiss - that is such a pretty girly pink (color is not like vg se) & i just love love love Sock Hop - what a gorgeous peach/coral color - sexy!!! Uhh i love them both so much

They felt really soft & creamy too...more so than usual

Can anyone tell me if this is normal for a backordered item...
My order status still says PENDING, in my order I received 7 of 9 things, but the 2 remaining items on the itemized page still have a status of BACKORDERED, but they both have a UPS tracking number which is the same as the tracking number for the items I have already received. Is that normal for backordered items? Shouldn't they not have a tracking number under them? And shouldn't my order status have change from Pending to processing or shipped by now? ANd shouldn't those last 2 things not say backordered anymore? Ack, I'm confused!

EDIT...I went ahead & called & basically they said its normal for the info to say what its saying. So if anyone is wondering & your order says that, all is good & your stuff will go out today or Monday

The site always lags. Mine said backorder...but they had arrive. It's best to call because the site status does not usually reflect actual shipping status
And, yes the backordered items will have the same ship/tracking # regardless

I just got Hollywood Nights yesterday, and I agree that the texture of this collection is even better than the normal lipstick. It's so smooth, and shiny on the lips!

Also, I'm NW15 and the contrast is awesome, so all you pale girlies should at least try it on if you can.

FYI: I have Apex as well as Sock hop. I tried Apex last night with Lollipop loving and it is really too sheer to make the sparkles shine more. I really prefer applying Sock hop first, followed by Lollipop Loving. Sockhop is a cream, so it's got more pigment and gives Lollipop Loving more omph that way. Also you're not burying Lollipop Loving and it's lovely sparkles with lip gloss this way.

If you want to use a lip liner before Lollipop Loving, my SA suggested Lure. It does bring out the coral tones more. I am probably going to go back and pick it up for this purpose.

I just have to say that even though I like Sock Hop with Lollipop Loving, I like Starlet Kiss with LL even more! Makes such a GREAT summer combo!

Hmm so apparently SOMEONE in Canada is doing deliveries today haha, I got a few brushes that I ordered from ebay (I'm angry though because they're fake MAC brushes

) But it gives me hope that maybe I might get my stuff today. Unfortunately I didn't see who dropped off the item at my door.

2,Between Bonus Beat and Sugar Trance. Which one give more perfect nude look, Im NC20-25. Is Sugar Trance more pinky+peachy than Bonus Beat.Sorry if im wrong

Bonus Beat is a creamier beige and Sugar Trance (my favourite) is more of a sheer warm pink/peach sparkle. They're very different.

Fleshpot is more beige. They are almost identical in color tone however 2N is the very sheer version & a tad lighter & Fleshpot is opaque

I forgot to mention to those who are B2M'ing at The Bay... they took away my lipstick box, of course.

Also, I was trying the pencils and the MA offered to sharpen them and she had trouble with the glitter end. They were so soft. I must have touched something, because I had glitter everywhere. Even after I got home, I saw bits of glitter on the sleeve of my coat. I'm staying as far away from those pencils as I can.

Yikes, I don't know! I think they'd be open on Saturday, just not today. If you do go to the pro store, Heatherette's on the right hand side when you walk in (unless they change things). I must've looked slightly insane bobbing my head around the main display looking for it, lol.
