Damn!!! I have no impulse control! I added two more items to my Heatherette collection!!! Picked up Style Minx and Lollipop Loving, and Style Minx was apparently almost sold out at my counter. I probably wasn't going to get LL, but everyone kept talking about it, so i thought wth? That many people love it, gotta be a reason! I was afraid it wouldn't show up, but I'll try layering it.

I think I am DONE now, lol! Unless I decide on back-ups!

I actually prefer the she's good lashes compared to the she's bad after seeinng them on. I just want the she's bad for the novelty but the she's good are beauuutiful!

I had a dream last night about the heatherette collection LOL. In my dream MAC also sold heatherette makeup brushes LOL. OMG imagine that hot pink MAC brushes; Siggggh I would have been all over those!

Seriously! They would have been really popular.

I agree with Cantaffordmac also; they really should have created other accessories like bags, brushes, shirts etc. that woulda been hot!

I would have loved a 187 brush that would go down into the handle/casing & pops up when you take the cap off... then you would see all that gorgeous pink....I know what i'm thinking of but can't describe it duh

I agree that they should have made some super cute hot pink brushes & other pink Heatherette accessories. I don't think MAC had any idea how popular this collection was going to be or they would have.

I think they didn't make such a hugh collection of Heatherette with many accessoires, because there just had been Fafi one month before.
Fafi was where they put the main emphasis on.

I'm soooo very bad...i went back & bought a 3rd Starlet Kiss (& perky pp). I wore it all day today with Sweetness BPB lightly & no other foundation or makeup...love
But then i am a major pink freak

OH GOD.
I only planned on getting the eye trios and 2 lipsticks and 2 lipglasses.

I ended up getting.. BOTH trios, 3 lipsticks and 3 lipglasses, plus an eyepencil (the purple one), and Alpha Girl!
Gah, the makeover made me buy even more! I swear.. T_T
But I love it all!

And I thought Melrose Mood wouldn't work on me because it was a cool baby pink, it totally looked good! If you're not sure of a color, be sure you try it! It was beautiful. I adore Lollipop Lovin and Hollywood Nights as well. This collection was WAY better than Fafi! I wish I had not gotten the Fafi Eyes 2 Quad now! These trios are way better in my opinion. I think I'll sell what's left of my Fafi Eyes 2 Quad. x3

Heatherette just blew me out of the water.
I don't think any other collection can top Heatherette this year.
The packaging was GORGEOUS as well. Love it!

Wow, a third one? I wish I had my first one at least... I think I have to order my back-ups from the very beginning when the collection is released here. If I hesitate too long everything might be sold out then.
This will be the first time buying back-ups without having seen them in real

I'm pretty sure Fleshpot wont work on my NC35 skin but I just ordered it anyways. Why? I don't know! But I did. I also ordered 2 more She's Bad lashes, and Jardin Aires. I hope I'm not dissapointed with that pigment!

This is my 3rd, count them 3rd major MAC haul in a 2 week period.

I'm sooo bad. I should def wear my She's Bad Lashes right now.

Nope, I thought Melrose Mood was one of the ugliest colors Mac has ever released. All of the MA's at my counter were wearing it, they all had different skin tones/hair color and this didn't look good on any of them.

I don't buy back-ups of anything anymore. Heh, I don't have enough money anyways. I only did on Antiquitease for the red eyeshadow, but so far.. I find too many things I love that I'll never use them up! So I pretty much just get one thing that I want and it makes me enjoy it all that much more.

Though it is REALLY tempting to get a back up of Lollipop Lovin. Seriously. It's that gorgeous, it's sold out already online.

I've only gotten back-ups of Light Flush and Warmed, but that's because I use them everyday.

I'm going to end up selling some other back-up things I've bought in the past. XD

I personally thought it looked gorgeous on all the MA's I saw them on. They made it wearable for me. I don't think it only has to do with the skin tone, but the attitude and look they're going for. I totally dig that they can rock the color and are brave enough to!

MM is one of my favorite lipsticks MAC has put out in a long time . . . True, for most people it's not a "wearable" look, but MAC's market extends far beyond day makeup. It will definitely be an AWESOME color for those of us rocking a Barbie-type look in drag situations or editorial stuff.

Of course, not every lipstick color works for everyone, but I think its in the application as much as the color. If you take a color like MM and cake it onto your lips like wax lips it may not work. However, if you use a light coat & some soft gloss, or using your fingers & lightly pat the lipstick & then pat or push it into the lip it makes it soft & wearable.

Is this Heatherette thing getting out of control, or what?
I, personally, have lost all semblance of rationality, and have ordered backups of "Hollywood Nights" and "Style Minx" without even having seen the actual products in person. How scary is that?
Oh, well, if I absolutely hate them, I can give the backups as gifts, or sell them, or something.
And if I love the colors, I'll never be without them ...

I agree about Melrose Mood, application is everything. Yes, if you cake it on then you will have the "pale pink lips of the damned" look going on. But applied subtly or topped with Starlet Kiss, it is so pretty and unique. I understand that there are a lot of nude lip fans out there, but some of us actually do love a little color on our lips.

I also wish that MAC had made this collection their main focus for related items, such as bags, t-shirts and brushes. I didn't buy anything from Fafi except for one paint pot. The Fafi packaging and finishes were such a turn off, but I would have dropped fat bank on hot pink Heatherette handled brushes or hot pink bags with the Heatherette logo. I was really skeptical of the hot pink packaging when I first saw the promo pics, but the packaging is really well designed and doesn't look cheap or like play makeup. I heart this collection so much. Every so often when I'm really jaded with MAC collections and about to call it quits, they come out with something really fabulous. This collection is one of those for me.

I did the same thing

I'm still waiting for my online order which was big enough but today after I got my Easter Basket blessed (I am SO POLISH) I stopped off at my local counter and picked up TWO Alpha Girl which I wasnt even going to get in the first place, Trio 1 (Moodring is just... GAGA!) and Sock Hop (to layer it with Lollipop Loving)

I am SO done with MAC (till Naughy Nauticals) LOL
