Having seen Amanda Lepore's mangina, all I can really do when I see that vid is shudder.

Oh gosh, that was definitely an image I didn't need in my head, whether ever having viewed it or not, but that post makes me chuckle... I'm cringing and laughing at the same time!

Can'tAffordMac, I love the whole sock hop first then lollipop loving....its making me want to get backups! LOL I wasn't convinced it would work well with gloss first!

I'm worried I'm going to buy too many lipsticks and lipglosses (can you have tooo many? LOL) and have them go bad...but I think limiting myself to one or two of each "in rotation" may deprive me.

Do you guys think bonus beat is better than Sugar Trance from fafi?
The swatches online look similar, but I know Sugar Trance (IMO) looked pinky.

lol i love the LL and sock hop too....its great. I know i usually reach for browns but summer is coming up n i know ill be using LL/sock hop more and more...

bonus beat is waaaaaay better than sugar trance. sugar trance is like a shimmery sugary pink, bonus beat is like what i imagine c-thru looks like but with added gold shimmer. i love bonus beat

I bought 2 LL & 2 sock hop. Sock Hop is such a pretty coral - I like it with just one sheer coat.

My nighthawk pencil came - I love the creamy brown side, i wish they would've made it waterproof. I love the peachy color on the other end, but hate the glitter.

Those are my two favourites. Bonus Beat is very beige-nude and creamy and Sugar Trance is sheer pinky-peach and very sparkly. Bonus Beat has no pink at all.

Yayy my Macy's counter finally got their Heatherette shipment in!!!

Well,most of it anyway-they are still waiting on the both of the bps,style minx lg and bonus beat lg and some of the pigments,which are either still in boxes or have not arrived yet.I called and it is now out for sale,I can't go in till tomorrow,so I had the MA put aside:both of the trios,both the nl,lollipop loving ls,hollywood nights ls and a third ls(cannot remember the name,not fleshpot)starlet kiss lg and sock hop lg.I will call back later to see what's up with the rest of it and will have them put aside,both of the bps and the other 2 lgs.I so cannot wait for this

Oh boy, now I'm considering on purchasing another Bonus Beat.

For the ladies who are of color, I think that Bonus Beat makes a nice nude lip color all by itself.

I never purchased doubles of a product from a collection. This is truly a first.

My order came today! I really, really like everything, but I LOOOVVVEEE Style Minx. I'm shocked that I love it too... normally I'm not into a lip that bright. The concistency is great too... it feels like a gloss with the coverage of a l/s, and it is not as sticky as other l/g. All of the l/g's seem less sticky to me.

My order was screwed up though... I got everything I ordered plus an extra melrose mood. Why couldn't it be an extra LL? LOL! I guess I can't complain for getting an item for free. I also got an email stating that I'll be getting a $22 credit for my alpha girl bp as an apology for the inconvenience for my order arriving a few days late. That's pretty awesome, but I never even complained about my order coming late. It didn't matter to me, I have patience as far as that goes. MAC can make mistakes with my order anytime.

I wasn't so sure about it because before I purchased the Bonus Beat, the swatches I saw, the ladies were lighter than me so I was like *scratches head*. But I'm glad I did. Its a gorgeous color. I love the gold reflects.

I will order another one when I get paid, lol.

UPS just delivered my Style Minx backup so I looked at the site & noticed its sold out now & so is Hollywood Nights(I'm so glad I ordered it when I did) I still can't decide if I want a backup for my backup of Scarlet Kiss before its gone too...I'm thinking that will be the next to go

Is Starlet Kiss worth buying? I am so undecided, in some pictures it looks too light and frosty for me to carry off. I didn't really like Cultured or Oi Oi Oi on me, I really don't want to make another mistake. NC20 if it helps.

I know its considered a frost, but I really don't find it frosty, I feel like it looks more creamy than frosty...but maybe I'm nuts so hopefully other people will give you their opinion. But I do love it & think its a really pretty color

I really actually love hollywood nights.. i wanna buy another back up but aren't there other MAC lip sticks that look similar to it?! Ahhh too much money gone!! hahaha
