I will never B2M my containers either. I am in love with them-pink and holographics, two of my favourite things, put together=me in heaven. I'm considering getting one of the trios now (grr) because it seems like it would be good to reuse. The packaging screams Heatherette-the bright colour, the glitter, and they really hit a home run with this one.

I ended up giving in and getting Hollywood Nights, and when I put it on under the warm lighting of my store, it looked AMAZING (our store at the mall has lighting that is very warm-toned, so that minor imperfections are gone and I can wear crazier makeup as it will look less garish). I got the very last one that my mall had though I will be going to the MAC store on Monday before work to see if they have any left, but hey, I'll enjoy it while I can. And the Reflects Gold, I wasn't that crazy about it at first but paired with Crystal Avalanche it is amazing. Definitely another thing I will buy multiples of.

I work at a MAC counter in Connecticut and we got Heatherette late, a few days ago on March 26th. We got a very very limited amount of product, some of which hasn't even arrived. The problem is that word on the street is that our shipments were stolen, for many Connecticut Macy's. I was wondering if anyone else has been affected by this? As a result we only got like 3 Starlet Kisses (sold out now), like 12 of each palette, no glitters, only two different glosses, and no Beauty Powders. Us artists might not be getting gratis either. This has been my FAVORITE collection, basically ever, and I haven't been this excited since like... Lingerie. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? It'll really suck if we never get more stuff in. We're very low on the little stock we started with, and we have a Heatherette event coming up soon. =/ Just really sucks for the customers that're holding out til then.

Same thing happened to my (where I shop) Macy's MAC... Their shippment was "lost" and now they don't even have all of the stuff (I believe they don't have none of the glitters, I think they are missing 1 eye pencil (or 2), I didn't see "She's bad" lashes, no beauty powders... some l/g was missing...) They put other stuff (like "reflects very pink" and MSFs) on display...

I feel bad for you guys that had shipments stolen. Thats not right at all. Who ever heard of only having 3 lip glasses for sale?? its just a shame. i hope you guys get more. I was kinda upset about how the wholeordering online thing turned out, because this is such a great collection for me.

Anyways I will B2M my heatherette. only because I got backups lmao. I wont b2m the trio case, and at least one of the lipstick cases. I would keep the bp case too but im returning my smooth harmony!

Shoot, I might B2M all the lipstick cases except one.. but I'm keeping BOTH trios. XD I love them, they're so gorgeous. Heck, once I use them up, I can keep it as a mirror or something in my purse. Wouldn't that be cool?

And I'm going to keep the Beauty Powder compact too. lol. It's cute. It'd make a cute mirror too.

And I can't believe shipments get stolen! That's so wrong.. I hope you can get all the items you want Bunny! It's a shame that a collection so perfect for you (and I really mean this when I say this) got stolen so that you might not get all the items that you want! I was looking forward to looks as well ahahahah... oh well. Hope it works out for you and your counter.

Oh don't worry, I have already got alot of Heatherette from going into New York City, and I'll be doing looks soon. It's just frustrating that I may not be getting gratis for my favorite collection (so I can save a little money to complete everything I want), and it's also really frustrating that my customers will be disappointed. This is my FAVORITE so far and I want anyone and everyone to enjoy it that is interested. Some people are evil I guess, because it's really mean to take a whole truck full of makeup.

I've never heard of people stealing makeup like that. That is so... bizarre! Who on earth does that? I think Heatherette is my fave collection so far too, I'm so sorry your stuff got jacked. At least you were able to get some in NY.

i doubt if anyone stole it. it seems like a lot of the heatherette shipments got lost. they are probably just got lost in transaction and sitting somewhere in a warehouse waiting for someone to look at them.

I am so impatient...

This is the first time I have ordered a collection without having seen it in real. But I am sure I will love it. Can't wait to hold the lippies and BPs in my hand. What a moment when the parcel finally arrives...

BTW: I ordered the parcel to my boyfriend's mother. She is at home and can take it for me when I am at work. Save is save.

Yes, I am that deranged.
I'm glad I did, though, because I LOVE it. In some of the photos I saw it looked a lot like "Impassioned," which I have and don't wear that much. However, I am pleased to report that "Hollywood Nights" is not like any of the many other fuchsia MAC lipsticks I own.
If I absolutely had to say, I think it's most like "Full Fuchsia."
To me, "Hollywood Nights" is approximately the color you might get if you mixed "Girl About Town" and "Full Fuchsia" together.
My favorite way to wear "Hollywood Nights" is blotted, with "Style Minx" Lipglass on top. This gives me a flattering bright "pop" of color.
BTW, I'm NW15, brunette, jade green eyes.

When I was younger... MUCH younger... like 8 years ago when I was 11 or 12, I actually wore my lipgloss to sleep because I was wondering if it would ever "dry up". It was my first ever lipgloss u see... and the texture was so different from lipsticks which were less sticky... LOL

I can't wait for Heatherette to hit Singapore! Taking ages! I just hope that I will have the money. I'm a total sucker for packaging (the holiday collections wiped out my savings like crazy) so this one is going to be a hard one to pass on.

Both beauty powder or maybe 2 Alpha Girl (I'm NC15/nw20, any advice?)
May get lipglass after seeing them in person
Pigments and glitters are also awaiting my honourable confirmation upon seeing them in person... any advice here too? I know the piggies are pretty but they seem to be easy to duplicate... yet I'd love to have EVERYTHING from MAC
Dual liners are also on the see-and-decide list
No nail polish for me...

I can't stop adding to my haul on this one. Totally passed on Fleshpot and Smooth Harmony because I did't think I could pull them off (NC20, red hair, green eyes). But I had an MA use Smooth Harmony as a crease color on my eyes (with Orb on the lids) and as a bronzer with Shy Beauty BPB. Such a beautiful neutral look. I just loved it and normally I am not a neutral type girl.

But the most amazing part was the lip.
First she applied Creme O Spice liner, then Fleshpot using the pencil brush (sorry I forget the number on that one) blending the l/s into the liner and then topped with Big Baby Plushglass. Gorgeous!!!

So my fair skinned friends, please don't think Fleshpot and Smooth Harmony can't work for you. It is all in the application and they are gorgeous.

I got another Sock Hop yesterday haha I'm sorry I just love this l/g. And I got the Nighthawk/Front Row pencil...sooo hot. I'm trying to resist bonus beat...but once i depot my eye shadows for b2m I might get it anyway. :-X My counter said they'll accept them so

Gaah, I picked up my box yesterday from the concierge (we live in a condo). I thought it was just the contacts we ordered b/c it's always taken 5+ days for MAC to deliver to me, even tho I live 1/2 hr away! I ordered on Wednesday night so I'm very very pleased. So in my hands I have my precious:

Hollywood Nights!!!

I'm loving the trio, even tho Hoppin' is really a throw-away shadow in the collection. I wish Mood Ring was more pigmented but I can work with it. It's so pretty and glowy! And gorgeous as a lower liner... I pushed it right into the lashline with Cloudburst wet on the outer part of the line and aaauuugh.... LOVE!!!! Yes, I'm contemplating getting a backup just for Mood Ring but I just can't, this is already a stretch for me, lol.

Hollywood Nights is beautiful but definitely not something I can wear on a regular day out. It practically glows off my lips and gives me a sexy tropical look when wearing Mood Ring. As a stain it's great and wearable, so I'll test that out more in the summertime. I've never had a lippie I could call sex in a tube but I can definitely give the title to Hollywood Nights!

Looking at my eyes I feel like something's missing... like a set of lashes? If they're still around in a few weeks I'll look into it!

Oh you need Bonus Beat. It is so pretty by itself or over any lipstick. The gold pearl in it is gorgeous.

FYI: Connecticut counters are not getting restocked, nor will we ever get Bonus Beat, Style Minx, the Beauty Powders, or the Glitters. And we only have 3 of each eye palette, no more Starlet Kiss, and are running very low on everything else.

I really thought i wouldn't like the packaging at first but after seeing them in person i actually started to like it. i loveeeeeee the products this is probably my favorite collection out of all the ones that i have been actually able to buy. It's sooo much better then fafi in terms of the shadows and so much easier to work with. The over all look is sooo nice!! love it!! Definately going to be my favorite collection of the year i have to say and i really dont think that any of the other ones are going to come even close.
