I live in a city without a MAC shop.... so I have to order all my stuff off the website. I'm still thinking about buying fleshpot, but its a bit daunting since its so opaque, and not a colour i would usually purchase... To tell u the truth, i might buy it just for the packaging since it's the last lippie left on the Aus. mac website. hmmmm.....i could try LL over just concealer to see the effect

I would suggest that you get a sample of the 3D Silver glitter before you invest in a whole jar. My problem with 3D Silver is that it is very chunky and not a finely milled glitter like the refects line or some of the other glitters. The color is gorgeous but the texture is like craft glitter and therefore I don't find many uses for it. That of course if just my opinion!

Hey friends! I need your advices. I've been eyeing the trios for the longest time now and I've finally decided I wanted to get at LEAST one of the 2 before they are completely sold out. In your opinions, which do you like better? I'm NC20/25 Black hair and dark brown eyes. What do you guys think look best on these features? Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to say that if you passed on melrose mood at first and you happen to have a chance to get it again dont pass it twice

When I went at MAC I passed over MM cause the lights of the Mac Pro are kinda very....... pigment pro??? (sorry dont know how to say that in english) they make everything so bright and pigmented it was like MM under a black light if you can see what I mean.. kinda like if it was gloing by itself. So it was to much for my taste and I didnt buy it. But after that it was so popular that I buyed it on ebay and OMG!!!!!! with real light its the most wonderful pink I ever saw !!! I like it even more than Real Doll from Barbie.. and I love real doll.

So it was just to share this with you

And for the Alpha Girl dupe.... hum dont know maybe a baby pink with a peach (a light yellow one) ?? Alpha girl is so gorgeous, I understand your fears of running out of it, its a part of my makeup almost everyday now.

I LOVE PINK and so I didnt regret buying backups from the heatherette collection (I dont usually buy more than one), those guys know pink

and it seems that the summer collections wont have any so... I'm gonna need a lot of Melrose Mood and Alpha Girl for the summer. (Lollypop Loving too.... its so great by itself or over any lipstick).

With how much I am using up Hollywood Nights, I was bummed that there were no more at any counter-but then I go to the MAC store and the ONLY Heatherette lipstick left was Hollywood Nights! Just goes to show that they are good places to check out if you are looking for something but your counter is sold out.

I bought the Trio just for Moodring! There isn't a dupe, as many have swatched. Aquadisiac may be the closest but it's darker, doesn't have the same seafoamy tone. And the highlight is a bit peachier than Shroom and doesn't have the same sheen.

Sorry, I'm not much help on the not-spending-money dept on this Trio!

There may be some WOC wondering about the wearability (sp?) of Melrose Mood. When I first saw it I thought it looked waaaay out of my league. It was a soft cream PALE pink. Well, I changed my mind and caved. I saw MelodyKat with it on and really liked how she wore it so I figured I would just find a way to make it work. I am so glad that I did. I paired it with Whirl lipliner & Ulta's Mocha lipliner then added Funtabulous dazzleglass on top of it. It's so pretty. The key is to apply the lipstick in THIN layers until you get the color you want. If you just go smearing it on it will look like you just ate a pink powdered donut.

i think shimmermoss is also pretty close to mood ring. HTH!

Do check out the reviews posted both on this board and on MUA for NYX's Seafoam Green, a supposed Mood Ring dupe. In a nutshell, it sucks.

anyone enjoyed using the eyeliner duos? I love the turqoise n black..the black is so shiny and doesnt turn grey..the only problem i have with that is that it tends to bleed alot..well i mean smudge..if you understand me..anyone no how to fix this?

I have the fab orchid/dash lily (purple) eye pencil because the purple makes my eyes pop. But I do have a problem with it smudging like all get out. I hardly wear it because of that, but when I do I use UDPP underneath, and then surround right underneath (and all around) with studio fix powder. any powder would probably work the same

Just dont make the mistake I did. I put the studio fix on top of the pencil and obviously that made it look all dull and gross. Lol

I do like the Trio 1 but honestly both trios are easily dupable. I can't believe I bought them both!

Tri 2 is harder to blend and the color payoff sucks for me at least. I don't know about the others.
Trio 1 has nice colors but all you really need is a nice highlighter of your choice, Aquadisiac is a good dupe for Moodring imo and Black Tied or Carbon are good dupes for Cloudburst. The blue sparkles in Cloudburst vanish by the time its on your lids so there is really no point. lol
