Also I might pickup a cremesheen glass, as I only have one from the previous release and I've decided I could use at least one more.
I'm kind of disappointed that the kits are going to be softsparkle pencils (they are so rough!) and pigment vials, as I guess I was hoping they'd do mini paint pots or shadesticks or something. But that's more money saved, right?
Great Idea....mini panit pots would be so nice. I hope MAC is listening.

You're welcome
The main things that caught my eye were the following:
- Face Kits - I am wondering if these are similar to the "look in a box" or even the face trip palettes that were brought out this year (I'm hoping for the latter)
- Love's Devine Lash Kit - this was a good buy from what I remember... I'm pretty sure it was AUD$95, so I reckon it would probably be around USD$45 (no idea really... just guessing)
I'm also very interested to see the lineup of the brushes to see how much they have changed!

Thank you! I want two eye palettes again for sure, maybe one brush set. A mini lipglass and pigment set as well - really can't wait to see the packaging.
I hope for regular e/s in the colour story as well - no MES please

[Edit: A massive thank you to my fabulous MA at Myers Adelaide who let me stand at the counter with her collections sheet and type all the info into my phone cos I said we didnt have it on Specktra yet [/quote]
Mrs May this MA sounds amazing and your typing skills must be pretty hot too because it would take me half an hour to type all that into my phone.

Yeah, she is fabulous, and has recently (last 6 months or so) been promoted to counter manager
I have a Nokia E71 which has a qwerty keyboard so it wasnt too bad to type that stuff in, I'm used to using it for emails at work

Re: MAC - Magic, Mirth, Mischief (Holiday 09) Discussion
Face Kit Fleur sounds soooo great to me!
I can not wait to get more information....
Does anyone already know if all parts are going to be available
in Germany?
Especially the Face Kit....because the Look Boxes from Graphic Garden
are not.

Re: MAC - Magic, Mirth, Mischief (Holiday 09) Discussion
I so wish to find a palette with colors I like(at least 4) so I don`t take my 15es palettes with me around in weekend trips.
Pink lipgloss set and mini pigments I guess, maybe some mes, will see

MACina - I would think everything I posted would be available in Germany as we normally have the same restrictions

I might look at the lipsticks. But for the most part, this collection is a definite "pass" for me.

Re: MAC - Magic, Mirth, Mischief (Holiday 09) Discussion
i love the holiday collections!
i'll be skipping the mes though because i'll be getting 2 from style black and i already have 2 from the normal line up.
i'm deffo getting the silver dg because that sounds amazing! and also i will get an eye palette (i only buy one from the hol collection each year) and i will most likely get a brush set (great for travel) and i always get both pigment sets and this year i might get the coral lipgloss kit
woooo! i'm so excited!!!!

Re: MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth, Mischief Discussion
I like the idea of "starlet" and "resort" eye palettes rather than the traditional warm, cool, smokey, bright. I also really like the theme- I think I'm going to like this collection a lot, as compared to the last two christmases!

Re: MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth, Mischief Discussion
i'm going to wait to be excited until i see pictures/swatches because i get excited every year and then just end up disappointed in the holiday collection. however, the lip products and the face and lash kits sound interesting.

Re: MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth, Mischief Discussion
Finally! Softsparkle liners! I have Iris Accents and Reflecto and I love them so much. Screw the Pearlglides which only show up as blackness. Anyway, just reading the list, I think I'll want:
Mineralized Eyeshadow Duos (maybe 1 of 2 of these)
Softsparkle Eye Pencils (both of these!)
Lipsticks (maybe 1 or 2)
Dazzleglasses (all 3 of these)
Mineralized Blush (both of these)
Eye Palettes (starlet and resort)
Lip & Lustreglass Sets (all 3)
Pigment Sets (both)
Softsparkle Eye Pencils Set

Maybe this year I finally pick up a smokey eye palette. I've been saying since 2006 that I would and never did :/

Re: MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth, Mischief Discussion
The thing that appeals to me the most is the packaging...and that's about it! I love anything with dots and the gold background sounds lurvely, maybe once I see the products I might see something I like but for now I'm a bit bored by the endless mineralize stuff (ahem Colour Craft) and average palettes (MAC collection) and I'd rather buy full size brushes than the recent poor quality sets
...but I'll see lol
