No, I expected the same. Some kind of Marlene Dietrich inspired stuff.
A black liquid eyeliner, eyeshadows that go well with a thick black line, false lashes, red lipsticks... Something along those lines. At least that was what I had in my head after seeing the promo picture.

I was going to pass on all of these, but after thinking about it I decided to get the red/black/silver combo. I passed on Hot Contrast only because I wanted to be sure I would get one with a lot of red & I think this is the same thing & I won't have to worry about getting one with a lot of red, lol, since they all will have half red

Nope, I thought the same. I guess from the pictures we saw in the other Red She Said Discussion (the one that we can't discuss in)...

I didnt even really expect there to be MES in this collection. thats lame. I won't be buying any. I'm not a MES freak, i only have Sea and Sky, so I can save some money here.

I'm definitely disappointed in the trios. What's with half of them having the same color in the middle & the other half having another same color in the middle? They look boring to me.

But Red She Said lippie... that's another story!!! MAC is pumping out some awesome red lippies this year!

I'm not wowed with those MES, but I am DYING to see what is inside those eyeshadow compacts. The anticipation is killing me!!! Does anyone know if they're quads, or if they're like with Antiquitease with six shadows plus a mini brush?

I heard of La Dolceta lip glass in CosmoGirl-described as pastel pink,(OCT. edition)maybe it will be in this collection?It didn't say,but the name sounds like it could be part of it!

the workname for major minor was la dulcenta. So maybe there will be a la dolceta too. I hope so. It is such a pretty name.

For me, the lipsticks are a maybe. I LOOOOVE red lips, but I might be swimming in them by then! The MES hold no appeal for me at all, except for the hope that the red in the one trio will be even better than the red in the Mi'Lady duo... I don't want the black or silver in the trio, but if that red is good enough, I just may cringe and buy it.

So far? Red She Said is not doing it for me. If I want red handled brushes, smashbox has them year round.
