MAC - Holiday 2008 "Red She Said" Discussion

right now im waiting to see what the pigment sets will be which is what interests me most out of this collection. Im tempted to get the mes trio with the red as i missed the Mi-Lady mes from the last holiday collection.

I just had a random thought... does anyone else think that the pigment holiday sets might contain some of the overrich piggies?

Oooh so there is going to be an eye kit? I hope it's like the old ones, where there were shadows and a liner. I have a feeling that it might be a shadow or two, a liner, and then a mini mascara. Kinda similar in concept to UD's Best of UD kit, where you get a shadow, a Heavy Metal liner, a mini 24/7 liner, and of course mini UDPP.

Passions of Red sounds to be like the palettes, and that would fit perfectly because of the eye kit. As for the Perfect Style, it either is going to be brush sets, something like the Keepsake from last year, or the sets of minis. Who knows though?

The first parts of Red She Said will be October 16, as Erine said.

The rest of Red She Said (presumably the sets of several ___ and the 2-lipstick-1-lipglass-bag sets) will be released November 6th.

Yep, the launch date for "Passion of Red" is coming out on Oct. 23.

I was at the regular MAC store I normally go to and my MA already set me up an appointment.

You're not alone. I ADORE Cult of Cherry but want almost nothing from any of the other collections you mentioned. Maybe we'll feel differently when we see them in person. If not just focus on all the $ saved. I've been thru this before...it will pass.

I feel the same way. I am loving Cult of Cherry, and I do want a few things from Ungaro, but I am not feeling Red She Said, I am probably going to pass on Manish because of all of the repromotes, and most of the mineral collection is permanent so I am not concerned about that one. I am sure it will pass, and there will be some collection in early 2009 that will really knock your socks off and send you wallet for a loop

these couldn't come at a worst time. lol. i have to buy my fiance a bday gift as his bday is oct 29...so much for saving. maybe i should skip the glitter liners from suite array so i can actually afford to get him his gift. lol. then again i do have a month between those...lol. im looking forward to hearing more though...the names really do catch your eye like passions of reds and enchanted mermillion and such.
