Top Hat was great, but I returned mine because on my lid it looked almost identical to Fertile

I'm definitely interested in Unbasic White and Fashion. One-off and Style Snob are on the maybe list. I gotta see those in person. I'm disappointed in Fashion Groupie...I was picturing it much different in my mind.

I hope it's much prettier in person.

Top Hat is one of the purples that look best on me (the next one is Circa Plum). Other purples look a bit off on me

i love tophat too. it is great with purply smokey looks, and the texture is soo buttery smooth! but i think i will only get one pearlglide e/l

Just finished reading this thread.
Firstly - they're phasing out Matte2's - even Blanc Type?

That's the only colour I use every single day, either as brow highlight or inner corner highlight. Don't tell me I have to break my no-back-up rule and get a back-up?!

Secondly, thanks for the swatches and info Erin, you are a doll!

I'd be more excited about this if the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection wasn't so damn gorgeous! This is a lovely little collection and I wanted it all when I first heard about it.... but a girl has got to budget and the MAC collection is where I'm spending the majority of my ££ this year.

My list:
**Smoke & Diamonds - missed out last year and have been hunting for it ever since.
**Fly By Blu and Rave eyeliners. Coloured eyeliner is kinda my signature look, so I'm all over new ones. Again, I missed out on these last year.
**Unbasic White - looks like such a pretty colour. I'm actually missing pretty highlights from my collection, because as I said above, I always always reach for Blanc Type.
**One-Off - missing pretty greens too and this one looks cute, plus it's Starflash finish!
**Strike A Pose - OMG this looks divine! Can't wait to try this badboy.

They have dc'd quite a few of the matte2's but Blanc Type is not one of them.

As far as I am aware, Blanc Type, Typographic, Handwritten, Prussian, Tete-a-tint and Brown Script are safe.

I cant wait for skin swatches of unbasic white. Whether or not it's the right kind of white with the right kind of opacity, it may indeed warrant a purchase. And I'm grabbing smoke & diamonds whether it likes me or not!!
