I've been desperate to find a blue violet eyeshadow that doesn't turn out almost black on me. So I'm hoping it looks different than the swatch that was posted.

I am so excited for the collection. I have only been seriously into MAC since Jan, and I searched high-and-low for the 6 colours from the original starflash collection. I LOVE S&D, i use it every time I do a smokey silver look, so at least once a week. I will be getting a back-up.
I can wait for all the new colours and the pearl gliders, I think this collection is gonna kill me!

^^This is going to kill me too, Starflash was the first time I bought every single shadow in a collection (i was just getting into MAC then) and honestly I'll probably buy every one of the new ones that I don't already own :-O I already have all those pearl gliders though and I don't use them regularily enough to need backups they're pretty though. I am just dying for them to release a TEAL PEARLGLIDER.. please mac? ... I love my soft sparkle pencil in peackocked that came with the holiday pencil set n all but its going to run out eventually so I need a glittery teal. I love the look of some of the UD pencils but I'm not sure they'll have the same kind of sparkle that I'm looking for hard to tell that kind of thing from the swatches i've seen.

So I got to see this collection today here are my thoughts:
unbasic white-pure,snow white,very pretty!
Ego-an extremely pale light pink.I really like it,very frosty.
One off-omg,love!It is like Wondergrass,except with an amazing texture,a must have!
Srike a pose-another gorgeous color,it's a midnight blue with a little bit of green to it,excellent payoff!
Fashion-it reminds me of Siverthorn,so nice!
Style Snob-nothing all that special,although it's a pretty color.A medium brown with a hint of pink.
Rated R-I love this,it reminds me of Bitter,except the texture is amazing,so silky and pigmented!
Unfortunately I dont think I saw Fashiion Groupie,I really don't remember seeing it.
All of the past shadows being released are the same colors and textures as before.That includes Dreammaker,while very pretty,the payoff wasn't all that hot
I can't wait for these to be released,the shadows are gorgeous and all in all,have excellent payoff and textures!

WOW! I don't have Wondergrass and I'll consider One Off! I'm happy that I'm getting every single eyeshadow and pearlglide from that collection! Also, I can't wait for Rated R since Bitter will be used less frequently.

I am wearing Bitter today - with pigment Chartreuse and e/s Humid - and find it hard to work with it. Can't wait to get it in a better texture!!

I love these eyeshadows you guys!

Grand Entrance - I loved this one last year. It looks similar to Shore Leave but a bit brighter. A perfect lid or highlight shade if you like something subtle in color but with an eyecatching finish.
Dreamaker - Not my favorite, but still pretty. I just don't really like the pastel shades.
Smoke & Diamonds - So nice for smoked eyes. And goes so perfectly with Satin Taupe.
Glamour Check! - Omg seriously. Reddest, prettiest brown ever. It's like Twinks on crack. Like it's true red chocolate brown. Loves it!
Strike A Pose - Seriously so pretty. Serpent blue green. Actually it reminds me alot of Deep Blue Green Pigment. Such a unique awesome color.
Ego - It's cute but I'm not really a fan of this type of shade. That said, it's a great formula so if you're into pastel shades this is perfect.
Fashion Groupie - Another shade I'm personally not into. I'm sure it will be popular though. The texture is soso awesome.
Unbasic White - It's basically Crystal Avalanche just in the Starflash formula. However, this formula is bit nicer than Veluxe Pearls so if you don't have it get this one!!
One-Off - Omg I love it. It reminded me of Wondergrass or Swimming or something. I didn't swatch it next to Swimming though but it's one of those warm summer fresh healthy looking greens.
Rated "R" - Like everyone said, it looks similar to Bitter/Sharp/Eyepopping/Overgrown/Sour Lemon. I have all of those but this... this this this... is so good. It's got so much coverage and it has such a fresh and new finish to it. It's so soft and shimmering and just omgosh love. Everyone needs this shade. I feel like it's so overdone every season yet... this one is special. It's so hot seriously. When it's out, go touch it. It's just so perfect! Acid yellow-green was made to be a Starflash!
Style Snob - It's pretty. At the time it reminded me of Satin Taupe but I didn't spend as much time with it as the other shades so I don't know if it's safe to say it's even slightly similar, lol. It is pretty though. Very wearable, and like I said it's got an awesome formula.
Fashion - A soft soft grey. I love it, I collect greys and this one is just so cute and pretty. It's the daytime kind of smokey-eye shade. Yummy.

I hope that helps anyone curious about the shadows. If you're still aprehensive, go try them at the counter. They are SO nice you have to at least try one on. It's such an awesome formula I swear.

i'm with ya on everything! im getting 2 rated rs as lime green is my favorite shade of green to wear on the eyes. one-off doesn't remind me of wondergrass (which has some yellow to it), but it does remind me of fresh green grass at the end of spring!
