^^Is this a store (Macy's vs Nordstrom) thing, or a location thing? Indiana's probably not the biggest place for selling a brand like MAC, being that we're in conservative corn country here...(I'm not knocking the state, btw--I live here after all--but it is what it is...)

What a bummer Erin! I will be going to the counter first day to get my shadows. I don't want to miss out on some of these colors.

It has to be a Store thing...I live in Texas and it is the same way here...and everything is Big in Texas lol

However I am sure the Bulk of the items go to MAC/Nordstroms Online so most people will have it before it hits the counters anyway

i'm not sure how it is at other macys (besides castleton, they always have things left over from collections eons ago!)

like i said before, we sold out of HK, but once they restocked us, we didn't sell shit! so just a week ago when we sent out our RTVs, we literally sent back over 40 each of both quads, tahitian sand and popster, about 30 pretty baby, and 25 reflects very pink!

i mean come on now!

Sometimes...But most times not for me...I spend wayyyyyy too much money when I go...So most times unless I am on the fence I always order what I really want and then take the chance at the counters on my maybes

Hey Tish! For me, its safer if I go to the counter and try it on, sometimes just swatching it satisfies my craving for a color (because it makes me decide whether or not its something I would really wear, and whether I think it looks good).
Erin, that's just crazy! I guess you just reach a saturation point really fast--If I remembered my econ class at all, I could remember what its called... Hehe and I forgot, we have soybeans too!

Well now that there is news that these colors may be limited, I'm all worried about getting them lol. However, looking at the swatches, I'm thinking there are not too many I could see myself wearing. I'm over most greens and blues b/c I never wear them. I like Unbasic White, Rated R, Style Snob and quite possibly Ego, but ugh, I feel like I've seen most of these colors before (as Erin's comparisons definitely confirm). But those tampon eyeliners look enticing! I was good last year, only got 2, so I can get a couple more this year right?

I can't wait for this collection!

Think I'll be getting Fashion, One-off, Unbasic White, Style Snob, and maybe Rated-R

I still have a back-up of Smoke & Diamonds, and my existing one has a large dip in it, but I'm gonna try to resist buying another one.
I use Grand Entrance virtually everyday on the inner corner but I still have a back-up.

Style Snob is going to be the bomb. This is the one I am most excited for even though I like the other colors, too.

You see I love Mauvement. I hate the texture of it, but love the color and it has been compared to it that so this is the one I am defintely getting, it is a no brainer color. Probably will sell really well because it is boring but oh so,delicious.

I can't stop singing it's praises.

Erin, how does SS compare with Sable e/s.

Fashion Groupie, Ego, Strike a Pose, One Off & Molasses will be what I'm interested in looking at.

I only need so many yellows in my life at the age of 36. I might check into Fashion as well. We'll see.

The only definite is Molasses since I didn't pick it up the first time around.

I just saw the tampon eyeliners at the CCO in particular black russian and molasses and I didn't get it. They swatched pretty enough but I have gel liners from clinique that the sparkles in them, so that is probably why.

Why oh why is my list now up to three of these? I'm supposed to be on a low-buy! Rated-R, Ego and I think Style Snob is the third. Luckily I have all the tampon liners i want from last year!

Hey, I'll be 47 in September and I love the yellows and all the brights. But yeah, I know what you mean. I put em on then tone it down. But at least I know I'm rockin some great colors under there. So that makes me feel good.

But sometimes just for fun like Saturday night when my hubby ran to Home Depot I played with some colors. I already had make-up on so I put Going Bananas and tons of Big T on one eye and I had already put GB on the other but decided to put lots of Stars-n-Rockets on the other just to freak him out (he's a boring engineer) Actually it blended together very well and both were pretty. It took him a little while to notice and then he was like WTF? Oh my life is just so freakin exciting.

I kinda wish they would have released lipsticks/lipglosses with this collection.

It seems like it is an incomplete collection without the lips. Although, it promises to be good, for sure.

while that would be nice my wallet is very pleased that it's just shadows!
