Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
I was surprised to see that aswell, AudreyNicole. Such a shame, I think that a bluish purple like perplexing would be a great addition to the perm naillacquer line. Now I'll hurry and order one right away

Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
Did anyone look at Alta Moda/Lip Love or Red Flame/
Orange Flicker?
And the purple polish will go home with me if it is dark enough. Same for Firehouse if I like it.

Me too,and since these nl are le,then I will have to call my counter to have them hold the purple one for me.MAC usually gets very limited quantities at the counters of nail lacquers, like sometimes only 3 of 1 color So I suggest definately calling your counter if you want these to see if they will hold one for you.

Nailpolishes? There are nailpolishes? How could I miss that? Mmh, Lustre Twins won't be available here. So no nailpolishes...

Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
I picked up Pink Air/ White Top and am glad I did. The rest of these were all SO bright but Pink Air is perfect. I've never been a big fan of longwear as they are s drying on my parched lips. I love that I can put the Pink Air side on though and then use chapstick over it so I get the color and the moisture.
I wish they had come out with a pink similar in tone to Angel or Blankety as that would have been awesome. All the other colors were way to bold on me and I am am NC20

i don't like the pro longwears. i hate the dry feeling of the lipstick end, and i change my lip colors too often during the day to wear these. i got boss brown in gratis but haven't played with em yet. boss brown is a pretty mauvy-brown, but the gloss end is very light/frosty. ripe & ready is very pretty tho. is a gorgeous corally color and the gloss is a pinky gold sheen. very pretty!

Those are the two I'm thinking of picking up! If you can describe the colors compared to any of the regualr lipsticks that would be divine.....

Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
i was set to pass on these (i've hated every other brand of long wearing lip stuff that ive tried), but i like the looks of 'ripe and ready'.....so i'll check them out tommorrow.
i am an hourly Burts Bee's lip balm user, totally addicted to that stuff and i have a tube in my car/desk/purse/tote bag/nightstand/bathroom.
if i use a lip balm first, then the prolongwear, does it affect the longevity of the pro long wear?

Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
I got my UPS delivery today around 3 & immediately swiped custom rose on my hand to see the color, I took pics & was curious to see how long it would stay on my hand so I left it, well, its after 11 now & it hadn't budged. I had a regular day...did dishes, chased & picked up after my little one, etc. I tried to wash it off with regular soap & it wasn't budging, I finally had to use scrubby hand soap with a washcloth & it finally came off, lol. Its crazy stuff!
The color is gorgeous so if its on my lips all day I won't mind

Re: MAC - Lustre Twins Discussion
I got Pink Air/White Top and Custom Rose/Pink Virtue. They remind me of Major Minor and Sonic Vibe from the last collection (i'm having a brain fart right now and can't think of the name)...I'm disappointed that I have to send these back bc I already own MM and SV
