Hey all,

Don't know if you all know this yet, I've done a search and couldn't find anything on it.

The Indian designer Manish Arora was at my university today and he told us he is doing a collaboration with MAC as they always do the makeup for his shows. It will be coming out in September and feature 4 eye shadows, 2 lipsticks and 2 lipglass/lipglosses ? He showed us some still in production images and it looks amazing so far. Just thought I would share.

Sorry I don't have that much information about the collection as he mainly just showed how the packing is going to look but it was not the final product. It's very nice and indian inspired as he loves his roots. I think it will be interesting to see what him and MAC come up with as he has a very distinct style.

OOO Thank you! I love it when MAC does collaborations with designers! They are usually more funky than the ones MAC does on their own!

According to Wikipedia, in 2007 he teamed up with MAC to create a signature collection. So it must be the one coming out this September! I love his designs and I bet the Indian inspired MAC collection would be divine!

I'm really excited about this one too! If it's anything like his spring and summer collection and anything like the Indian/Desi culture(s), it's definitely going to be vibrant!
