i got my package yesterday. omg, can you say gorgeous. everything was so attentive to detail. simply beautiful! if went to a store [and could see everything in real life prior to purchasing] i would have gotten:

the palette: i love all the colors. you can do so many looks with just this palette, it's insane. i didn't get the hype of the dress camp palette because the colors were just blah to me. this palette on the other hand, is totally worth it. i plan on keeping it long after the eye shadows are finished [if that ever happens, lol].

the lipglosses: shine manish is a beautiful coral color, sooo pretty. pink manish is also very lovely. they both have little specks of gold shimmer throughout which i love. once again the packaging is very detailed. i especially like the yellow cap.

devil blush: it's extremely pigmented. this a characteristic i like in blushes because i know it will show up with little effort on my part. the color is indeed lovely, and gives the face a nice warm flush.

i wasn't too fond of the lipsticks because girl about town is very similar to hollywood nights [which i own] and kiss manish isn't a color that i would normally wear. 1st off it's a frost and i'm not too found of that finish. 2nd, it's very bright and a combination of colors that i don't particularly like [red + orange]. i'll prob. still keep it and try it in the warmer months. pink swoon has a ashen quality to it which i don't like at all. i'll prob. stick to my pleasantry blush.

^^^ interesting that you say you'll try Kiss Manish in the warmer months. To, me, it's the perfect fall red! I think it would be a gorgeous lip with olives / burnt oranges / browns / golds on the eyes. (Not necessarily all those colors at once, haha!)

I was able to get the palette & pink blush off someone yesterday! For a good price to. (Well not amazing, I can't believe Canada's dollar has dropped so much again...)
But i'm beyond happy either way.

I have a Pink Swoon blush for sale or swap. I'd rather have Devil. It's BNIB, never tested.

Also a Pink Manish lipgloss, that I'm not sure if I wanna get rid of, but I will take offers, lol.

Today I went to a local MAC counter to ask if they maybe possibly just might have the Manish palette there. They didn't, but the girl behind the counter told me they are getting it in on October 23, which kind of goes against everything I've read/heard about it being totally sold out and only available in select stores.

Can anyone confirm/deny whether this is getting "re-released" in stores or was the girl behind the counter totally clueless? Thanks!

I am so upset I missed it..I just want to cry. I overslept due to being sick the day it came out and when i woke up it was sold out. Heartbreaking. And all the coming soon stuff is the stuff I didnt want lol I just wanted that dang pallete.. ugh oh well..i guess

If by some act of god this collection did get a broad, late release . . . I will probably burn down the Soho store. I know I'm supposed to be nice and kind and want to share the joy, but, really, if I camped out for two hours just so that Jane Hockey Mom in Omaha can go waltzing into her Macy's on a wednesday afternoon and pick it up on a lark . . . there will be . . . consequences.

This was not an internet exclusive collection, it was just a very very limited collection that was available at only 3 stores in the US and sold online with very limited supply. Here's the list from the color story

North America - Available at MAC Pro NY, MAC Pro North Robertson, MAC Soho, maccosmetics.com.

International - Asia Pacific (Travel Retail Select Stores), Austria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Middleeast, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand.
