My sympathies, but how can you boycott a collection that isn't being released in your country? Technically speaking, Mac is sort of boycotting the UK and Canada with this collection by not offering it for sale there.

Well, i have family and friends in the US (NY) who could get it for me, but I don't think I want to do that

I hate country specific launches! I'm planning on cleaning up when Suite Arrays comes out to make up for it - those eyeshadows look hot hot hot!

So what you're saying is that you aren't going to go to extraordinary lengths to get a hold of this collection.

And I am sympathetic, we miss a lot of the Asia only releases over here too. I don't blame MAC, as they are probably targeting the market they think the collection will do well in.

I know - I'm asian too! We will just have to live with the fact it's another collection that won't be released here!!

Look on the bright side - we can spend the money on the holiday releases and over Christmas!

No, I reckon there must be some other reason. Cos IMO that one is just not plausible. Considering I know Europe pretty well and all.

But whatever....tis no huge deal. If it was really exclusive I might be a bit more infuriated. But it seems like a lot of repromotes so I'm not too upset.

Maybe you guys can make plans with someone ahead of time (like, weeks ahead)....someone here who you KNOW is going to get some of this collection, and they would be happy to CP it for you? That sounds like no problem to me...you'd be getting the products you want, if they are that important to you. (Plus a lot of you would be getting them cheaper than you could in your own country)

My thank you button has been broken for the longest time. It must be one of the first signs of an aging Specktra-ite. Probably the next thing to go will be my avatar. Will someone please tell me if it starts getting fine lines and all saggy?

That is very very sweet of you to suggest. It's a possibility but, in my opinion, not worth getting too stressed over. There are so many other good things on the horizon!

I do agree that it is too a bit too early to be getting excited about this collection anyway!

i think she's just saying that it's wrong NOT to release an indian inspired collection in UK since there are larger indian populations in UK compare to Germany.

it's like mac picked 2 countries (UK and Canada) that have huge indian populations and avoided the market on purpose (or maybe i'm just delusional
