OMG, can you even imagine what we would all come up with? Just playing around at first with this collection got a little "naughty" They would probably have to sell it behind the counter like it was porn and not have the products out because of the names in my area.

At the counter closest to me the store would not even allow them to put up the big poster for the Lure collection. It was considered inappropriate. I thought that was just stupid. I mean it was no worse than the big posters in the windows of Victoria's Secret.

Same here! Neo Sci Fi isn't doing it for me either.

I think someone commented before that it's getting out of hand with the LE collections, that people might as well build their collections with LE stuff and just ignore the perm line just because MAC keeps making LE collections. I'm starting to agree too, just because Submarine looks like it could be a good substitute for Freshwater, I may just get Submarine over Freshwater if the reviews and swatch for it are good, and if not, ignore Submarine and get Freshwater. It makes me sad though because the perm line is there for a reason, but many people just start seeing the LE stuff, especially newer users of MAC.

I wish new colors would get added to the perm collection sometimes over the LE collections.

I agree! It is getting out of hand now. They always have like 2 big collections out in one month. Thats pretty ridiculous. They think that they (haha sorry to many T's!) can make profit by doing this because we won't ignore whats it the perm line. Submarine does look like Freshwater. I had Belle Azure that looked exactly like freshwater. I have freshwater so I will have to see what this looks like in person. Im gonna have to be really picky now when it comes to these LE collections, because you have to admit, a lot of these colors are dupable or have come out before with another name. MAC thinks we are dumb.

I think that's also probably why MAC is losing money or having a hard time, because they keep putting out LE collections and everyone ends up ignoring the perm line. It probably costs so much more to keep churning out the LE collections than to produce the perm line.. I mean, people probably get excited and buy a lot from the LE collections, but I think in the long run, it'll cost MAC too much to keep making LE collections.

I'm going to be more picky now as well. As much as I liked Fafi and Antiquitease, my spending was a little out of hand on those compared to Heatherette where I genuinely LOVED everything I bought. I'm going to swatch compare Freshwater and Submarine once NN is released.

Hopefully, not all these next few collections will jump at me, so I can get more perm colors. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm building a collection off of LE items. And I don't like that because I want more perm items! But the lure of LE items is just too much I guess ahahah.

Most of the lure for me is the LE packaging, but also the thought that if I miss out, that I'll never be able to have it!

(NN doesn't have LE packaging, but I still want a lot of it. AND I just broke the bank with Heatherette.)

Also,

on one hand, there are some items that I passed on and totally wish I had, but on the other hand there are SO MANY LE ITEMS that I could live without *ahem* Fafi Quad 2 *ahem* but I bought because of the hype I built in my head.
