Now I want most of the lustreglasses, how do they compare to the lipglasses? I don't like the lipglass formula as it dries on my lips within 15 minutes and becomes sticky. Are lustreglasses better?
IMHO, lustreglasses last longer than lipglasses. I can wear my first application of lustreglass for most of the day if I don't eat or drink. But lipglasses are sticky and dry my lips out really quick, so I have to use lip balm with them.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I am interested in Shore Leave e/s mostly because it is a neutral and VP. I am wondering though how it compares to the cream shadow coming out with Neo Sci Fi (Also a VP) and the cream one coming out with Cool Heat. Has anyone been to update yet and seen these in person? Are they close? They have nearly identical color descriptions, so I want to get one or the other...
Oh, and does anyone else think that Love Knot l//g looks like Lightswitch 3D glass? Maybe not in the tube, but swatched on the lips it does

I agree with this completely. I like lipglass but only over a TLC or lipstick. I can never wear it alone because it dries out my lips in a matter of hours, to the point where they crack I don't have that problem with lustreglass though. It is smoother, not as sticky and longer wearing. I do prefer the doe foot applicator of the lipglass to the lustreglass brush though. I am so excited that this collection has lustreglass... I much prefer it!

it's the opposite for me. lipglass really help my lips stay "uncracked" in the winter, but lustreglass disappears in less than an hour and all i have left are some sparkles, which i don't like to begin with

Yeah, same with me. I don't mind the sparkles, but the lustreglasses just don't have the staying power for me. I wish they'd done at least a couple of lipglasses.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I was wondering, do you think bell bottom blue is just submarine in pigment form? From the video and the swatches they look pretty similar. I can't wait to see everything at the store, than I will know what I want for sure!

Oh we've got the same taste? I've got Lightswitch and love it and also want Love Knot l/g. These are my colors. I agree the swatches look similar.

To me Submarine looks a little lighter. I wonder how Bell Bottom compares to Flashtrack or Deep Truth. I'd rather have that blue in a shadow.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I think it will definitely be lipglasses and lipsticks to sell out first...but the eyeshadows for the most part look like the casual buyer would like them. The nail polishes could either not sell, or completely sell out. The pigments probably won't sell out for the most part because it's not really something that a good portion of the customers would even have any idea what to do with! (I say that in the nicest way possible, because there are many people who are just about the basics-stuff for day and stuff for night, and keeping it simple)

I can definitely see Party Mate being one of the first lipsticks to sell out first!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Oh boy, I'm in trouble... all the lipglasses look so pretty! But I am not feeling the eyeshadows. I'll probably get samples of the Mutiny and Bell Bottom piggies.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I had a dream that I got Bell-Bottom, Mutiny, and Lovely Lilly pigments early and i was swatching them on my hand and they all had awesome texture except for Mutiny which was like glass and cut my finger and made it bleed! So I thought there was no way I would put it on my eye. haha. I doubt Mutiny is like that in real life though. Usually pigments with gold pearl have smooth texture.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
tinkerbelle2001, your swatches and video are fabulous!
You mentioned in your video that some people compare Illegal Cargo to Neutral Pink. Since Neutral Pink is my recent favourite, I got a bit excited, but can't see how it compares. Illegal Cargo looks like a grayed purple and Neutral Pink is... pink... grayed pink but still pink. What makes people think they look similar?
Also, I may have missed it, but what are you wearing on your lips in the video?

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Yay!!!! Another paycheck in before NN!!!!
And hopefully it's going to be just the two piggies. I can wait till I see more swatches on Submarine before I get that one.
And I totally don't want Port Red anymore.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Is this collection exclusive to Mac Stores/Pro Stores or are counters also included? I was at a MAC counter today, and the artist didn't know what I was talking about. She also said she hasn't been to update yet. I'm so confused!
