I don't know if its just me, but Submarine and BBB look exactly the same on my NC35 skin. Except BBB has sparkles and its much prettier. lol

yup, same here. they looked very similar on my hands (NC 20/25), so i only got the pigment (BBB looked darker and a bit more purple with a base though)

Yeap I bought the pigment too! I prefer it than the Frost texture of Submarine. But when I see others swatching it, it looks a tad different. I guess we have to take skin tone into consideration because it won't look the same on everyone.

I was afraid Port Red was going to be way too orange-red & too frosty for me. But its a beautiful everyday perfect red.

I think it needs to be a PERM red lippie.

Port Red is like the perfect red for all skin tones imo. It should be perm! I <3 over Russian Red any day.

Yep, I find Port Red to be that perfect color of red, too...and I'm incredibly picky when it comes to my reds. Another vote for perm!

Told ya - even works for going to Trader Joe's! ITA that it works for all skintones and should be perm.

Hmm, I rarely ever use liner, so I'll probably just use my clear liner. I don't want anything getting in the way of the color!

That's funny, because I buy liners but don't use them a lot either. Maybe because it makes the lipstick look too formal or something.

I never use lip liners either. The only one I own from MAC is Spice. Its such lovely color though but I feel I can use it for any lip color as well. lol

It's so silly how the satisfaction of one lemming has now refreshed another. I talked myself out of She-Gold b/c I was holding out for NN but now that I've got Port Red (goooo b2m!!) I'd love to have it as the paired gloss! Aaaaahh, the craziness... Well, maybe I can use my Dame in a Dress lipgelee, tho it's less yellow than She-Gold.

I bought Brick to go with it because that's what they used with it in the NN looks and it's a very pretty color, not really what springs to my mind when I hear "brick". How much I will wear it with Port Red we will see. I often skip the liner too, but I think it's a little more important with a red....

I got my Port Red and Lovely Lily today. Umm... I don't know how I feel about Port Red :s. It looked beautiful on my mother but it wasn't as bright on me . However, I put Money, Honey Dazzleglass on it and OMG! It looks like Dorothy's ruby slippers LOL! I love that, but I want to make the lipstick work without Money, Honey too... But if not, I love them together.

I adore Lovely Lily. I had a sample of it and was sad when I ran out and was SO excited to see it was with this collection . I'm so happy I got this pigment.

Even though I liked how She Gold looked over Port Red, I figured that I try my gold gloss from Victoria's Secret, it looks just the same but less stickier!

I see we have a lot of Port Red fans. Isnt it hot fiyah?! I love it. I am thinking of getting a backup because that is the ONLY red that I like. I have Dubonnet but I think it looks a lil too dark for me. And count me in for making Port Red a Perm color!!!

I bought bateaux and ensign....i don't even know if i like them anymore. ensign is just so..metallic pink. i didnt expect that. And bateaux is just a frosty bronze. Which i thought would flatter me but I think I look like an alien

Sorry guys I'm a little crabby lol. I've been making so many damn returns lately, not only to MAC but other places and I'm just frustrated that nothing ever works!

You and I always have the same lipstick problems. It's either too dark, too bright, too frosty, too something...

I don't mind Ensign though. I don't see it as metallic, I see it as a pearl highlight which I much prefer to frost and glitter.
