That's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading the last few pages of this thread!
I tried Ahoy, There again today. I was kind of on the fence about it, but then I tried it with Whirl l/l as suggested by one of the MA's when I bought it, and love it! I didn't have any other make-up on and it looked so pretty all on it's own. Now I'm thinking Ahoy, There with a little Shore Leave on the lids, mascara and a touch of bronzer on the cheeks and I'll be good to go on those mornings when I sleep in! It's the only glaze I've ever liked!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
When I went to my normal counter today, they had sold out of all the e/s except for Illegal Cargo and Pandemonium, Hey Sailor, and Buoy-o-Buoy. I was not all that surprised, because the eyeshadows that did sell out are a lot safer (IMO). Illegal Cargo was very unimpressive to me, I actually considered getting Shore Leave but due to them selling out of it I got Beautiful Iris (a perm).

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
i bought Bell-Bottom Blue, Mutiny and Lark About, which I all love! I did get Love Knot but the purple/blue-ish color showed up on my lips too much, so I just returned that one!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I got a sample of Lark About and when I had seen it at the counter, it was an immediate nahhh but my MA gave me a sample to see how I feel about it. But today I was playing with it, and I really really like it! It looks sooo pretty. I think I will do a look with it along with BBB.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I just have to share how much I LOVE the Naughty Nautical nail lacquer!! I just had a fill-in yesterday and it soo pretty! I have Russian Navy by OPI as well and I think MAC's is a much prettier color. When I swatched them on paper, RN looks more like a dirty dark purple blue, whereas NN looks like a clear dark royal/navy blue. I can't stop staring at my nails, I LOVE this color. So ne one who shyed away from NN because they have RN, GET IT, its SOO much prettier!! I would post a pic, but I don't have a camera and I'm not speaking with the person whose camera I borrow, haha.

Do you use Prrr lipglass and like it better and that's why you don't like Ensign? I hear Ensign is a pinkier verision of Prrr. I'm just curious because I love Prrr.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
So I checked out the collection at Nordies this weekend and I bought NOTHING! I had Mutiny, Port Red and Love Knot on my list and I wasn't all that impressed or in love with anything to warrant buying or even B2Ming for them
I have Sky Blue Pro e/s which is close enough to Mutiny IMO so I passed on it. As for Port Red, as pretty as it is I've got enough reds. Plus with the Red Holiday collection coming out in Oct/Nov, I'm sure I'll find something that'll tickle my fancy then. Love Knot was gorgeous in the tube and in the swatches/fotds I have seen on here but when I tried it on, the blue was all I saw. It just didn't look good on me.
I actually feel pretty good for not getting anything for NN or Dazzleglass...with the way the economy is going, I should spend my money a lil' more wisely SLASH more $$$$ for Cool Heat

I decided to pass on Ensign, and I don't have Prrr, but I swatched them side by side, and they are similar, but Prrr is definately peachy and Ensign is a pale watermelon pink. They have the same frostiness in each of them though.

naughty nautical is definately different than russian navy. its actually closer to yoga-ta get this blue! from the india collection. the two are just a bit different, but you can dupe nn with yoga-ta.

For the sake of my wallet, I'll pretend I never read that and hug my Russian Navy....
But onto the things I did get - finally! I tried out Illegal Cargo and Meet the Fleet today (yep, the only two items I bought! - aside from the b2m'd Port Red) and my GOSH do I love Illegal Cargo! It looks so lush on my lids. And hubby likes it b/c I look mysterious without looking made up, lol. I did IL on the lid, Neutral Pink in the crease, Shroom as highlight and Magic Dust for inner corner. Last, but definitely not least, MTF to line, just smudging into the lashes and WOW, I love how it brings out my eyes but looks so soft at the same time!
What I would absolutely love is if MTF was ever made into a Fluidline.... I'll trade my Delineate and Penned for some o' that!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I got port red after seeing it on people's fotd's and I loooooove it! lol. I wasn't even planning on getting it but it's now my favourite item from this collection. I never even liked red lipstick on me before I got port red. I think what makes it so perfect for me is its frost finish. I do wish they would make it perm!

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I don't know if I am quite over NN yet, but I am ready for the next collection, if that makes any sense I got 3 pigments, and 4 shadows from NN and have been wearing something from the collection everyday since I got it. I love the collection, but there are so many other great things that I am looking forward to, and I guess that is why I am so anxious.

I think they are focusing on pencil eyeliners, haven't you noticed in every collection, there are two ore three. I really don't understand it, because they are discontinuing all of the creamy liners or bases (i.e. shadesticks and regular paints) what is going to replace these things?. And it seems like everything they replace they wind up selling it in the drugstore (H.I.P. large pencil liners and their own paints) and almost for the same dang price, too.

That's a good question. I did not get QS but I did get Red Romp.
I LOVE Port Red & it seems as though that color has been more universal for everyone...so I wonder if that will make it more successful than QS
