Red Enriched Cremestick liner. Seriously, with just clear lipglass over it to allow the gold pearl in it to show off and do its thing.

I am just waiting for my Port Red to arrive, but I'm interested in the comparison as well!
I have 2 x Queens Sin, wondering if maybe I should do the same with Port Red???
LOL - I just got Red Enriched, now I will be ready to go when the Page Ranking arrives

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
lol @ specktra turning all of you guys's port red abbreviations into page ranking. tee hee. "girl whats that color on your lips? just a little page ranking"
 im so dumb
Anywho....I had a feeling I wouldnt be feeling this collection guys. I'm not a fan of blues, or buying full sized pigments. Sooooo all I had to depend on was the lips. And they sucked. I returned party mate (agree with whoever said its not a sheer midtone pink) And I wish I returned bateaux and ensign as well. This collection is so...blah to me. I just want it to be over lol.

Don't you worry in the least bit my beautiful friend...cuz trust me when I tell you that you've got much bigger fish to fry if you decide to consider the upcoming collections - i.e., The Solar Bits Piggies, Neo Sci-Fi Lippies, The Nordstrom's anniversary collection for starters!
Never feel remorse if it doesn’t work for you something will come along that will and you’ll be very pleased when it does.

See, I'm the exact opposite! Y'all have talked me into Illegal Cargo and probably Ensign, too. Off to MAC tomorrow! Gotta wear something fabulous on the eyes and lips to graduation, everything else is covered by a gown (oh, except the feet...got some hot new shoes, too!)

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I received my NN lippies yesterday. Love knot is kind of difficult for me to wear. Bateaux isn't nearly as copper-gold as I hoped it would be. Party Mate is really pretty and a definite keeper.
Port Red is the cat's PJs though. This color is so much better on me than Queens Sin. Less metallic and a more subtle shine. I think I have finally found my true red listick. This looks so flattering on and doesn't overwhelm my face like a lot of reds do. Love, love, love it.

Oh trust me I'm not upset at all. I'm a picky person. Picky with food, shoes, you name it. I'm glad that I'm picky with makeup too. there are some things I just don't like. And I'm not one of the addicts that have to get something "just because" (yet, anyways). I know that some collections work for some people, and don't for others. I'm glad I didn't like this. If I liked every collection I would be a very poor pretty girl
I'm already scared for neo sci fi. I have at least 10 things I want. AND tendertones !

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Weird question.... did anyone who buy a Lark About get one with a "Golden Lemon" sticker on the bottom? I just opened mine from the box, bought it from my counter, and yeh, thats the sticker on the bottom.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Stopped by again and bought Shore Leave (loves it!) I wanted to get Lark About but it was SOLD out at my counter! It was the first to sell out an MA told me. But they gave me another sample of it
I asked what else is selling from NN and they said the shadows and lipsticks are selling and some pigments. But no one is really interested in the lustreglasses.
I almost bought Submarine but decided against it again. I just couldn't do it. I mean with Cool Heat and its blues and teals, I have to save.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I am suprised that Lark About is more popular that Mutiny. BTW did anyone get a Naughty Nautical postcard in their package from MAC.com? I just ordered port red and a few other things and I am hoping that I get a postcard. Sigh.....I really miss postcards.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
^ I ordered 2x and I didn't get a postcard. That's the first time I haven't with my internet order in a while... My store and counters didn't have them when I went either. And a few others have said the same thing.
I don't know why I'm having such a hard time finding one, it's my favorite promo in such a long time and they're being postcard stingy! lol

they don't make postcards for every collection. and with the way things are with the economy, its no wonder why they aren't spending money on them.

LOL... I am still waiting for mine to come, but I HOPE it doesnt have one - it will be awfully difficult to trade off later if I decide I dont like it if it has a Golden Lemon sticker on the bottom.....

Yes, I do know that, but the paints pots do not work for everyone, but that is another topic for a different discussion board.

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
I can see why Lark is selling, it is very workable, it just can be used for a lot of things. I used mine to try to dupe Love Knot, I used Hey, Sailor and just added Lark About on top, not bad, not as sheer as Love Knot, but it worked to make a blue tone or highlight.

No not at all! BBB's color stays true even over Delft p/p but the sparkles are more vivid.
Swatches:
BBB over Deflt with MM
Mutiny over Rollickin & 6th Sin Metal X Cream Shadow with MM

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Ive just got mutiny, ensign and pandamonium today
i LOVEEEE mutiny but its soo similar to one of the GOSH pigments i have in 'spa' but the texture is so much better.
Ensign is a gorgeous coral/pink and very shiny which will be great for summer, i think im gonna wear it over my costa chica lipstick
and pandamonium will be great for a smokey eye

Re: Naughty Nauticals Discussion
Okay, when I first got Port Red I wasn't sure about it... Now I am LOL. And now I'm wondering if I should get another one :S. I've never backed up anything but I can see myself wearing Port Red almost everyday. And for some reason I want Shore Leave too... O_o. I swear this board is like one big subliminal Message LOL.

GREAT! Now I know that I NEED Delft! Haha, we are such enablers! SO glad I got Rollickin' thought, it works so well with Naughty Nauticals and will work well with Cool Heat too!!!
