I mean I did swatch it at the counter but I didn't like the texture. Although, it is workable over a p/p. I have so many blues already. I have a feeling I will regret it if I don't get it. lol

If someone can do a swatch for me of submarine, bang on blue and blue storm over a blue paintpot, I will love them for life!!!

I had submarine in my hands, too as I bought my NN haul, but I said: Save some money!
Now I am very relieved I will still get it.

With Cool Heat and the 'Starfish' lol collections coming out, I think the finishes of the blue shadows in both collections are far better. Thats what is keeping me from buying submarine.

GlamYOURus, my swatches are up on the swatch board. I don't have a blue base, or Bang on Blue e/s (I sold it), but it is very different. HTH!

i know im so late to the party, but i finally ordered my NN stuff! got illegal cargo (as well as longtime lemmings phloof and blushbaby) and im contemplating getting party mate, but i already have sweetie..so i dont know. i love sweetie, so im sure i'll like party mate, but im not sure if theyre too similar to get both? =contemplates=

i think i'm sick in the head....I bought a fullsize mutiny and LOVE pairing it with illegal cargo---and I'm really starting to use it quite a bit it seems...so I'm thinking of getting a BACKUP! yikes. but with this hoopla about all the new collections I'm worried about this all...I feel like I need to disconnect the computer so whats outta sight is outta mind! :S

anyone else think illegal cargo is the shit and would get a backup or am I seriously off my rocker?

SO I got my Ensign today and I LOVE it!! I actually think its pretty different from Prrr. Ensign is much pinker and frostier. I'm in the minority and don't like Prrr, its way too peachy for my pigmented lips, it makes them look kinda dark or something, idk. I love Ensign tho, I think it's sooo gorgeous, its like everything I wanted Prrr to be!! Between Ensign and my Like Venus dazzleglass, I have found my fav lipglosses!! So if you're like me and have wanted to love Prrr, but didn't, try Ensign!

Hmmm, Lark About, IMO, is a *lot* like Frozen White p/m once you apply it. Frozen White goes on more smoothly, though. Anyone else notice this? I'm glad I only got samples.

I caved and ordered BBB and Illegal Cargo. Now I can add that to mutiny, lovely lily, shore leave, party mate, love knot and port. I just figured even though BBB is kind of dupe-able, I would never get the mac pigment texture.

Now I can't wait for it to come. BBB was sold out but available online.

Update: I got BBB and Ilegal Cargo today and I am thrilled. BBB is prettier on the skin than I thought it would be. I never hauled so much from one collection.

MAC is killing me, and not softly either, releasing Dazzleglass and Naughty Nauticals so close together!
I got:
Love Alert, Funtabulous and Ms. Fizz Dazzleglasses
Mutiny pigment(I already have a full-size of Lovely Lily from Lingerie, and I didn't really like any of the others)
Shore Leave eyeshadow(I'm still lemming Illegal Cargo, though)
Port Red lipstick(I think I'll back it up, instead of buying Party Mate)

I'm a naughty person.
And Cool Heat is on the horizon. <Whimpers and covers eyes>

Unfortunately this collection did not work out for me, I wanted to like a lot of the colors, but they just weren't "me" .. I think Port Red is absolutely gorgeous unfortunately I cannot do red lipstick AT ALL. *siiigh* More money for the next collection

*sigh* after reading all the reviews of port red lipstick i thought i'd go and try it out. It looked not so good on me...i guess i can't pull of bright colored lipsticks which is fine with me because i always do colorful eyes and played down lips.

I did get a back up of love knot lustreglass because there's nothing in the perm collection similar to it and i love it!!! My first backup of anything from a collection!!!

I will second and third that! Illegal Cargo's been the easiest and sexiest colour shadow for me to wear; there is nothing like it. It has just enough frost and colour to be noticed but doesn't take a lot of product and is soooo blendable I don't have to worry about making mistakes. Other colours might be hotter (hello Mutiny) but Illegal Cargo does well on all fronts.

MAC did good on this one!

Hells yeah!! I can't believe I wasn't going to get this...I went back and got it and Ensign. Now I need backups of both of those and Shore Leave.

Me, too! It turns out quite a bit different on me than Prrr, as well. They're both pretty, but in different ways. Gonna need another of this one, too!
