Just to confirm, Naughty Nauticals is not the three-part release collection, this one is... b/c a MA told me that one is the next after Heatherette, but she wasn't entirely familiar with Heatherette herself, so she may have mixed things up.

If you do a completed auction search for "MAC Sun Gold", you'll find it. Seller is totally_mac, but unfortunately all her recently ended items appear to be fake. It's a shame they all sold. So as nice a name as that is, I doubt it's a part of this collection.

Hmmm...since no one has said it yet..let me be the first to say that I hope this collection is just "all right" as I have no money left to be blown away by another great MAC collection.

I long for the good ol' days when we use to moan and complain for "something new" and shake our fists at the MAC gods for disappointing us yet again.

Anyone else hoping for a let-down just so u can build your cash reserves up again???

Though if it's bright like c-shock I will gladly pass as it's not my style anyway so I will join the rest of you who are hoping for something like c-shock but BRIGHTER!

I found this on eBay as well under the seller's completed listings and they are very fake pigments! Aggghh it got me so excited at first LOL

I really hope we get some really sexy pigments and hopefully MAC will do the all pigment collection like they did for the past 2 years! Those are my new fave!

lol, I was thinking the same thing as I was reading through the thread. There was a member who had my first name as her id and that confused theheck out of me every time I saw her posts.

Yeah, I'm hoping that I won't like this three-part collection at all... I want to keep some of my money and my peace of mind!

But if they're bright colours, i'm actually in trouble....

I feel the same way. i missed all of macs collections but Im hoping that they come out with something thats not my style.

i am blowing so much money on mac this month its crazy. i expected it though, with heatherette. i hope everything goes downhill until summertime lol

and whats this pink grapefruit lipglass it sounds to die for, ive never heard of it.

i feel like i want it to be not my style so i can save up my money as well but at the same time limited edition packaging makes me ga-ga. I think MAC has realized that and lately EVERY new collection is in fancy packaging. It adds to the limited editioness of it all and i LOVEE it!

I feel the exact same way!! I love the silver/rainbow/holographic thing and that makes Heatherette stellar for me already!! I feel like MAC is bringing out one killer collection after another. It makes it so hard to budget my makeup allowance for the week/month when I never know what next week will bring and those perm shades often look so pretty. I think I will be very happy with one or two stand out shadows, a pigment, blush, and maybe lipstick/glass.

pink grapefruit is a sparkly oranged-pink like the inside of a grapefruit. i have a mini of it and its uberr purty. i love it on top of vegas volt lipstick from the raquel collection. its a pretty gloss to wear over tangerines. i dont have any lipglass that compares to pink grapefruit and its quite purdy. its a very cheerful colour ^__^

There would never be a true red shadow because true red pigment irritates the eye which could really damage vision. The only red powder formula we have is the red pigment but that is not even approved for use around the eye.

If that is the case, then mixing golden lemon (just a touch) or chrome with a fuchsia type pigment will give you red too.

I have an eye safe version of Bright Fuchsia from another company which works beautifully.

The addition of lemon yellow brings it right out to pure RED.

(I am a painter who mixes colors all of the time)

Although I'd definitely buy a red shadow if it were released, I have to admit that I like using True Red blush more than most shadows . . . I seem to get better color payoff and easier application / blend than most of my eyeshadows. Go figure.

For this collection I'm assuming there will be lot's of metallic colours OR really bright colours... Or really pale colours with neat coloured undertones.

From what Susanne said in a way earlier post, I think this collection has more bold colors than anything else. But, no matter what MAC comes out with, I'm probably going to drool over the colors if nothing else!
