Re: MAC New View Discussion
I saw these in person today, Im also so getting the light shade - it's absolutely gorgeous. The shimmer side was just like wow, perfection. <3 I think I'm in love.
Apparently these are out July 5th in the UK. I tell you I'm going to be queueing up for this! <3

Re: MAC New View Discussion
hey guys
I got a sneak peak of these at my counter today
They are gorgeous, very solid color payoff, not flakey like some of the msfs have been in the past (like northern lights)
although for VERY fair skinned people like myself I dont think many of them will work for me, except for using them as a bronzer. But nevertheless they are gorgeous.

Can you tell me a little bit of the difference between the Light & the Medium (other than the obvious darker shade) doesn't the med. have a peachy side?
TIA

How I remember it, and I didnt look at these for long (I was crazy about the MES eyeshadows haha), is the lightest one has a side that has a yellow undertone to it, and the medium one has a side that has a peachy undertone to it (like you were saying before), I find the medium to be much warmer due to the peachy tone, the light one is a colder color due to its yellow tones. I wish I could tell you more! I wish I could have just grabbed them and run out of the store haha!

Your description is perfect that just what I needed. I normally get the lightest shade, but darn - because of that peachy pink side I just may get the med. - or both.
Funny thing is, I bought the light in the loose mineral foundation & it is yellow base too & at first I thought I would not like that...but as it turns out, the yellow conceals any red, or pigmentation and actually made my skin look flawless. So yeah, maybe the yellow base in the light would be perfect.
Lucky you that you did get to see them. Ha, can just see you running out with the samples telling Security..."but I have to show the girls at Specktra"
Thanks Hun!

No problem!
Haha TOTALLY! I definitely dont think security would understand my love and devotion for specktra :P
I think I'm going to get the lightest one, I am NC15 so I'm hoping it will turn out, I'll have to give it a try in the store.
Yeah the mineralized loose definitely had a yellow tinge to it, I actually couldn't buy it because it was too dark for me! haha, ridiculous right? The lightest shade is too dark :P damn I need to tan or something!!!!

Whoa, really? You must be extremely fair then. Maybe MAC needs a 5 or 10 or something for the very fair. I've heard others mention that light is not light enough too.

Re: MAC New View Discussion
They do need to make a slightly lighter foundation than NW/NC 15. I can just barely wear NW15. I love studio fix fluid but they all seem to run a bit dark. I am excited to check out these new view mineralize nauturals. Hopefully the light one will work.

Re: MAC New View Discussion
I'm really excited about these! I'm still fairly new to MAC and don't have any MSF (or anything like them) so I'm definitely getting one or two. I think ranges like this are maybe more for people like me than the die hard, long time collectors...?

Re: MAC - New View Discussion
I think I'll get two, light medium and medium natural. One for the summer and one for the winter when I go pale. I totally forgot about this collection

the lightest one
I'm NC15 and I probably wont be able to get any, usually these types of things are too dark for me.
I'll be able to get one of them for bronzer / contour though
