Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
These do indeed look very pretty, but am I the only one who feels like we are getting too many browns, golds and greens? First colour forms and now this.
I would love some more unique colors

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
i think all the mac collections are screwing up my mind.
i had a dream last night that i bought these pigments. but when i got home, i realized that all the colors are in the same jar! (in the same jar but not mixed, kinda like MES if that makes any sense) so i tried to separate each color into their own jars, but they started mixing when i tried to scoop them out. then i got really frustrated and wanted to cry and that's how i woke up this morning.
so yah, mac broke my brain

I agree. There does seem to be a lot of brown, golds and greens. And alot of rusty/orangey colors too. I think these are very pretty, but the more and more I think about it, how much will I really use such dark colors? Even the ones I use several times a week (Vanilla & Your Ladyship) look barely touched. From these new swatches, I really like the looks of Blonde's Gold (the only one that it is likely I will get a fullsize of), Antique Green, Heritage Rouge, and Vintage Gold. I will probably just get large samples of them, because for me, Cult of Cherry keeps looking better and better.

lol, that's such a horrible dream! But glad to know it's not in reality. =D And that last line... I get this pic of a head cracked open with the MAC logo peeping out of it and pigments spilled everywhere... lol, sorry that might be a bit morbid.... but pretty if you think about the pigments.... ok I'll stop here. =P
For those who have seen the pigments and/or Colour Forms in person: Does Vintage Gold (Overrich) look at all like Rolled Gold from the Warm Eyes palette? There might be a hint of green difference but are they very far apart in colour?

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I definitely want Antique Green and Vintage Gold! They will look gorgeous with the lippies from Cult of Cherry for fall!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Fortunately for me, only 2 lippies appeal from Cult of Cherry, so I can go hog-wild with collection and not feel too bad. ATM, I'm definitely getting Blonde's Gold and Antique Green, but Mega Rich and Museum Bronze are very high on the list. Copper Beam, Heritage Rouge and Vintage Gold are all iffy. Copper Beam simply because I'm afraid it will turn out ruddy on me. But Heritage Rouge and Vintage Gold look strikingly similar to Maroon (which is d/c'd, so HR is quite likely a possibility) and Copperclast, respectively. I'd rather not spend money on pigments I already have that are so similar. Been there, done that with Subtle and Mauvement.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
OH CRAP. After seeing pics at The Site That Must Not Be Named, I most definitely want Vintage Gold, Antique Green, Blonde's Gold and possibly Museum Bronze. Vintage Gold is AMAZING. Gah.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Hmmm I am still iffy but the swatches on TB's site look stunning, some of them at least. BUT I don't think I would want a full size of any of them. They aren't eye openers for me. Museum Bronze looks gorgeous though.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
The colors are amazing! But I really need to cut down my wishlist. Do I need copper beam if I have full pots of richmetal, copperclast and copper sparkle?

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I'm getting samples of ALL the piggies!!!! And then if I like any of them that much I'll get a full size. It's good that we get them much later than the US, that way I'll have more time to play with my samples before I make up my mind which ones worth a full size jar!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Im really liking Blonde's Gold..but I have Dazzleray, Jardin Aires and Gold Mode.
I wonder if it's anything like Gold Dusk or solar White eyeshadow...
I hope the grains are really fine and not chunky

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Does anyone know the date the collection comes out???? I know they are kinda late on coming out with this pigment collection. They usually do it sometime in the middle of summer.
