Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Since I'm going to try and cut costs where I can (by waiting for these to get to CCOs) I think I'll initially get Museum Bronze and Blonde's Gold. I really like the looks of Antique Green and Heritage Rounge, so those I'll try and get at a CCO. I also like the looks of Vintage Gold, but I'm wondering how close this one is to Olive Green. I'll probably just wait for this one to get to a CCO, too. As for Copperbeam and Mega-Rich...those I'll definitely need to see in person. In my little mind I want them all, but realistically I know that Copperbeam and Mega-Rich are least likely to work on me.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I would love to have: (have mauvemovement already)
Blonde's Gold -
Antique Green
Vintage Gold -
Museum Bronze -
Mega-Rich -
Copperbeam -
Heritage Rouge -
But who really needs the whole pigment jar. I wish I could just have half the jar and I would be happy. Then you are splitting the cost, makes it easier to afford) All my friends dont buy Mac like me so I guess I wont be able to do that unless I find a trustworthy person to do it with .
I WANT THE ALLL

Someone mentioned about more cool tones of the taupe's, browns, ect.. l'm the same, I look better in the cool tones more so the warmer ones. I've also noticed I wont try a color at times due to it looking just like another but when I eventually do I end up loving it!
I usually gage how well a collection is doing by how quickly things start selling out on MACs web site. I'll bet you lunch that both Mutiny and Bell Bottom Blue are at my CCO before Christmas. I think because pigments are so huge an amount of product, that people don't really want to pick one up unless they think they will gets loads of use out of it. So bright colors and pastels tend to end up at my CCO in larger quantities more than colors like Sweet Sienna and Subtle. This has been true for the last three years that I've shopped at my CCO. I can't tell you how many containers of Off the Radar they had there, compared to one or two jars of Jardin Aires.

I can imagine how many off the radar there were/are. Jardin Aires sold like crazy while my off the radar didnt. I'm actually selling more of it now then i did when it came out.

Well...I have every pigment ever made with the exception of two (Auburn and Mustard), so why stop now? lol
I already saw these at the pro store, they definitely impressed me. You'll be pleased.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
i find it totally opposite here---pigments sell out quick. ex. all NN e/s are still avail at my local counter, same with lustreglasses and lipsticks. only two pigments--lark about and bbb. so for me i have to pick up pigments asap! (or order online)
So I'm excited for a couple--though Ill stick with neutrals, unless theres something as good as mutiny (love it with illegal cargo!)

Are they actually metallic? Or glittery like Sweet Sienna and Your Ladyship? Or totally different than any that we have seen before? I am excited for a few of these!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I'm imagining that they are only metallic in the sense that they are frosts, not mattes. Mauvement being on the list tends to make me think this is probably true. I doubt they're anywhere near as metallic as say Solar bits or Platinum pigment.

we're talking about one with a metallic finish. emerald green is gorgeous, but a metallic emerald green, the color of an actual emerald, would be kickass!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
As far as the pigments ending up at the CCO's, there is a ton of Off the Radar, which I actually have considered buying since it is an orange. Aire-de-Blu is still hanging around, along with a lot of the pigments from last year's pigment collection. That's the thing I am trying to think about though. Which ones will likely end up at the CCO's? I know Pink Pearl sold out completely at my normal counter. Jardin Aires didn't but it still sold-but due to being repromoed twice in four months, some WILL end up at the CCO and I will be buying it. As far as NN goes, Mutiny has been selling quite well, but I won't be surprised if some ends up there. If Dazzleglasses and Alpha Girl BPB's end up at a CCO, then anything can.
I think once we get better images, we can base our decisions more effectively.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I am excited there's another pigments collection. I love pigments but I am most probably not buying all of them. The colors are kind of boring really... same old mauves, browns and greens. Agree about bring coco and Coco Beach back (Coco Beach rocks!) instead of making 100 near dupes but not quite pretty as Coco Beach.

I agree, which is why I hold off on ordering pigments, since most of them seem to end up at CCOs anyway. I figure if Coco and Deckchair have shown up at CCOs, odds are pretty good that these will too. I don't feel as bad if I spend $13 on a pigment and it doesn't work on me, but its over $19 and when there are so many collections coming out, it seems unfathomable.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
those of you lucky ladies who have (just about) *every* pigment, i can't even imagine what your collections look like!!! i just started buying them about a year ago, so my collection is pretty modest. so far here's my list:
Blonde's Gold - Light tan with gold and white pearl
Antique Green - Turquoise green with gold pearl
Vintage Gold - Tarnished green with green pearl
Copperbeam - Rusted brown with red pearl
i already own mauvement (yay!!) and kinda want to see how vintage gold compares to golder's green. but that's the initial wish list!!
