YAYYY! Not feeling Heritage Rouge either! Crossing another one off the list. At this rate, I may be able to skip this collection all together!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I think it's a nice "fall" color. I won't get it at the outset, but if I found it at a CCO, I'd probably bite. Still, if I missed out on this one, I wouldn't be heartbroken.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I don't really think that's the best picture of Heritage Rouge because I have Artifact Paint Pot and I don't think thats what it really looks like.
I think I need to see a few more pictures before I decided.

I'm the one who did the swatch of Heritage Rouge, and I just wanted to say that Artifact PP looks very brown on me compared to other people for some reason I just added another picture, and I'll take a picture of the pigment itself tomorrow.
Heritage Rouge IS pretty, but I was disappointed by how bland it looked on. That's just me, though

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Well now my doggone apple cart's all upset. That's two Overrich p/ms in a row that we've seen that aren't exciting. I have really been waiting for swatches of these to trickle in (thanks for posting those, ladies!) and this is what we see. I sure hope the others are better.

Artifact DOES look really brown on you... wow. I'm curious to see more of Heritage Rouge before I decide, too. I'm probably in the minority, but I think I'm going to like it. I could definitely see it making some eye colours pop.

When you take a picture of the pigment jar, do you think you could take one next to the pot of Artifact? It'd be nice to have as a comparison, since Artifact in the pot should look the same for everyone, unlike when it is on the skin.
Thanks for your pictures!

Will do, though I have to say I thought Heritage Rouge looked totally different (and prettier) in the jar than it did on me. Reddish brown colors do tend to look more brown on me, so maybe it's the same thing with Heritage Rouge?
And please don't decide not to get this pigment based on my (somewhat poor newbie) swatches! It's so beautiful in the jar, and it's definitely worth checking out

Your colouring is likely what causes the browns to be emphasized rather than the red. And, hey, different colours look different on various people! Another idea for an unaffected colour swatch would be to try it on white paper. Just a thought!

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Don't quote me on this but I am totally not feeling this collection. Plus I agree with purrtykitty that I will wait until I see these at the CCO. Maybe I will get samples but I am not as wowed by this collection as the others coming out.

I wish I had the CCO option. D:
It would be so much cheaper than buying them at $26.56 a pop ($23.50 plus 13% tax). I know they don't seem like they'll be terribly popular, but I like these colours.

EW on Heritage Rouge. I just knew it would be this red brown color. Yuck. I'm skipping this collection.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
i have to agree with everyone else that the colors are starting to look a little bit disappointing. the 2 pigments (heritage rouge & antiqued green) that i planned on getting look nothing like what i had imagined. i still won't give up hope just yet...

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
My list keeps getting whittled down and my wallet is surely smiling right now...I don't need a reddish brown pigment. I never do brown looks.

I will skip Heritage Rouge as well.
I want Antique Green and maybe Vintage Gold.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
I think the two we have seen so far are great fall colours. Maybe we are just having a hard time digesting them atm, as we are in the midst of the Cool Heat colour explosion.

So it's less reddish burgundy than Artifact? I was hoping it would be more red.

At first I was disappointed at the colors, then I realized that these are being released for the fall season and they perfectly capture the color essence of that time. They almost have that 'maturity' associated with fall.

Re: MAC Overrich Discussion
Yeah, I'm aware that these are more autumn/fall colors.. but they're still not doing it for me. I wear brights all year round. Tacky maybe, but I do what I like.
I'm glad some of your girls are liking Antique Green and Heritage Rouge though!

It's quite reddish brown in the jar, but it looks less red on. And the more I blended it, the more brown it looked
And even if I'm slightly disappointed in the color, I have to admit that I absolutely love the name.
