Re: MAC - Sheer Minerals Discussion
I'm kinda bummed that Gold Deposit is not indeed coming back...but a perm MSF? Sold. You can bet I will be waiting for Nordie's to open the day of the release and I will be buying all of them.

Re: MAC - Sheer Minerals Discussion
The fact that the third MSF isn't Gold Deposit makes this so much harder for me...haha "gilded peach" sounds so gorgeous, doesn't it? Darn...I had already decided Gold Deposit wasn't my thing, but this new one sounds too pretty to pass up!
I better have one hell of a paycheck this fall or else I'm not going to be able to afford all of these gorgeous MSFs!!

I swapped all my MSF away... LOL! I don't use them at all other than looking at them from time to time. So I'll definitely pass on this collection!

No. I'm a gigantic dope and paid $50 for a BNIB Petticoat yesterday- YESTERDAY! I have no idea how I missed the buzz on this. Well... at least I'll be getting something I like. It could be worse.

That's exactly what I am thinking! But at least the new "gilded peach" one will be (possibly) perm, so there's no rush to go out and buy it like there will be with Petticoat and So Ceylon. If money is tight - the perm on will be the one I hold off on. I'm not about to pass up on Petticoat and So Ceylon again.

Re: MAC - Sheer Minerals Discussion
One of each please!!! All of the MSFs and the new MSS products sound gorgeous. I really love the sound of Soft & Gentle (yay for a PERM MSF!) and Silver Aura MSS... are these Sheersheen's going to be like the loose version of the MSFs?

I checked the update book and the SheerSheen powders do not contain jojoba oil. Contains tricaprylin rather than jojoba to condition the skin, micronized Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, and mincrofine pearlized pigments (among other ingredients) to give the skin a "flawless satin/luminous" finish. Lightweight with sheer coverage. Safe for face and eyes (according to the ingredients list, though the colour story has a symbol next to the SheerSheen powders that says it is not eye safe. I will be asking and clarifying this up at Update). Dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.
And just for those interested, the Mineralize/Natural and Shimmer powders do contain jojoba oil.

Re: MAC - Sheer Minerals Discussion
Hope Soft and Slow won't be the only perm MSF. It doesn't look very PPP friendly (unless the picture is misleading).

Like most Amplified Cream lipsticks, and Lustre eyeshadows are the same image, just different colors. That's why one should always take these facts into account when ordering online.
Specktra is a great resource to use when deciding on ordering colors, since many members go out of their way to post swatches, and describe products in depth. =)
That's what I don't get. It really doesn't seem like that much of an effort, especially since NYC Pro has their own photography studio and the amount of product they give away and use as testers totally overshadows any amount of waste they would have from crushing up one collection to photograph. Either way, those website images are not so great.

Re: MAC - Sheer Minerals Discussion
Soooooooo ummmmmm...
At update we didn't have 3 Mineralize Skinfinishes. We had a 4th as well.
And Gold Deposit was her name. My trainers couldn't give me a reason why. They were surprised it was in there as well? We had one for each table and it seemed that they were all brand new (Soft & Gentle, So Ceylon, Petticoat, AND Gold Deposit). So it's being repromoted somewhere I guess!! EXCITING!
Edit: My trainers said that the SheerSheen loose powders being eye safe was an error, so be aware that it is NOT eye safe!! Only safe for on the face!
