I'm ever so curious to see a swatch of Mink & Sable. I'm loving the looks of Lotusland and Top Hat.

Since I'm a sucker for all things purple, I'm definitely getting Lotusland. As for the others, I'll have to see swatches before I make a decision. They all look great so far in the pans. They don't look too bright so they might be a good way to introduce color for your everyday look.

Every collection comes in packaging ,only permenant eyeshadows and blushes etc. come in pan form. So you have to depot the eyeshadows you get in collections and there are plenty of threads to show you how.

Ugh, I really really need to learn how to depot or make myself depot my shadows before this collection at least! I have no space anymore!

Yeah I depot all my shadows myself. Occasionally I buy pro pans but for LE items, they only come in pots b/c it is a Limited Edition product. If a shadow from a certain collection becomes a permanent item, then perhaps you can get a pro pan at a Pro Store.

Is it just me or is anyone else not really feeling this collection. So far the swatches of the shadows haven't really convinced me that i really NEED any of the shadows. I dont do purple looks that often and the bronzey color looks easily dupable. lol. i guess i'll have to see as more swatches are added but right now i feel like i'll probably pass up this collection.

There are a few I have an eye for but I am not 100% sure on them. I can't say until I actually see them. Go was the first to catch my eye though.

I know! I used to use the heat/flame method of depotting but even with the windows open and fan on the fumes still gave me wicked headaches. And then I was worried how they would be affecting my pets who like to hang out in my room with me. So I switched to the alcohol method I saw on YouTube by EnKore!! It's a little trickier, but so worth it to not have to deal with the fumes!

Yeah! I knew it came from the fumes. Oooh. Maybe I should try that method too, but using the flame is so much easier. Maybe I'll just go do it in my patio outside so that the fumes don't get to me. I don't have pets, so it wouldn't be as bad or worrisome for me.

i don't find it very inspiring either

lately all the promo pictures are alike (starflash, sonic chic , new view, overrich ) very technically enhanced and not inventive enough but maybe that's just me i loved the antiquitease and the strange hybrid that was more to my taste.

I personally think Cool Heat was the best promo pic this year so far.
With N and Fafi coming next, but those aren't that great either in my opinion.

I am definately not liking the promo picture either. It doesn't flatter the products very much IMO. Naughty Nauticals was the best promo image this year, I think, and it made me want to buy whatever she was wearing. Isn't that what they are supposed to do?

i kinda have the feeling that these aren't even the real promo pics. they're all too similar to each other and so different than a real mac promo image. i'll let ya'll know after update. i'll scan the real images if these are infact not the real ones.

naughty nauticals was nice it made me try and duplicate the e/s combo she had on but the products didn't thrill me.

i sure hope that there are other promo pictures for these collections.

that neo sci fi was a good laugh for me though, i couldn't explain why they choose that photo with that position...so funny!

That's what I have thought as well. It would surprise me if we get these "boring" promo pics in real.
