Will this be the little black dress of your train case? A collection full of basic blacks that will transform the norm to the knock out?

Here's the prelim chatter:

+ 1 true black lipstick (cremesheen)

+ 2 Mattenes: One a matte black, the other a repromoted deep purple. My guess for the repro Mattene is Bing from Cult of Cherry. What do you think?

+ A new lip product called Glimmerglass. It is sheer with shimmer, has adhesive polymers, and can be worn alone or over lipsticks for more coverage. There will be 3 shades of sheer black: One with gold pearl, one with pink/purple pearl and one creamy black.

+ There will be 4 mineralize black eyeshadows, each with different pearl pigments.

+ Greasepaint stick

+ Penultimate liner

+ 3 nail lacquers: Repromote of Nocturnelle and 2 others LEs. One is black with gold particle pearl and the other is black with pink/purple pearl.

+ #214 brush

+ 2 black CCBs: Bat Black (pro) and a new LE CCB.

+ Volvanic Ash Exfoliator and Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask.

Thoughts?

Me? I am thrilled about this one. Whilst the collection as a whole may not be one that you can pull an entire look from, I think it will provide those one or two essential pieces for a statement look.

OMG

I am SOOOOOO excited.
As soon as I saw the title of this thread I got sooo pumped!
Aside from my excitement over the new lip product (!!!!), I am happy they're bringing back Volcanic Ash exfoliator because I skipped it the first time!
I can't wait!!!!

Ahem here is my premade wishlist, highlights, etc...

+ Glimmerglass: I will get the fuschia one and goldy one. Even the swatch looked kinda poopy, I bet it'll look dreamy on red lippies

+ 4 mineralize black eyeshadows: OMFG. I just love MEs. Like Colour Craft is not enough ----- btw, loooong ago some blog ( shinyblabla ) posted a pic from backstage of NYFW featuring a cremesheen glass, a blue quad, and a goldy-brown-black MEs, I bet this is it!!!

+ Greasepaint stick: All 3 will be in or only one? Confusing. Interesting. I think all 3 belong to this collection . I need swatches.

+ 3 nail lacquers: WOW all collection seperated as true black, fuschia mixed black and gold black, lippies, nails, greasepaints, everything. Cool. I love black nail polish!!!

+ Volcanic Ash Exfoliator and Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask: FINALLY. Now I can get what this hype is all about. Yes I missed it. Yes I will buy it. And yes my wallet just died.

my co-worker and i were buzzing about this and she says "erin! how am i sposed to wear a black lip, im not wering that shit!! nuh uh" i said "girl! if thats the attitude you have how the hell are you gonna sell it to a customer?? this isnt some cheesy halloween /hot topic kinda black, its sophisticated and very city. i'll tell you how you can wear it, do a light pink lip like high tea with a wash of the creamy black glimmerglass and itll look pinky grey and very sophisticated" so she was cool with that. but here in lies my dilema, these upcoming collections are so "back to the mac roots" and very edgy, myself and any MAC lover or makeup artist will love them but in my region (southern, very country, bible thumping) itll be hard to sell these products, many of these women are very set in their ways and routines and their look is dated but no matter what we try its hard to get them to change and update their look. but i sure as hell plan to rock the shit out of these collections!

These are real creamy, I love it. It kind of reminds me of Sharkskin, but it has little glitters of purple in it. This collection is, I agree, is going to be pretty hot. I don't see myself buying any of the products though (gasp!) but I know I am going to be there for it's release and maybe that will change my mind... =)
