MAC - Style Black Discussion

i'm not loving young punk..is it just me or is the glitter more pinkish than purple? i can'T seem to bring out the purple enough, maybe i should use a different base? has anyone tried this with V from dsquared?
any other suggestions??

i agree - the glitter is the fuschia glitter that you can get at pro i think. whihc is more pinky than purple.

Ok, so I tried one of the Milanis nail polishes from Black Magic collection "Whimsical" and I like it so much better then the "Baby Goth Girl" n/p.

I have Whimsical, too, . So pretty and you can actually see the glitter from far way. You should try Totally Cool, is a blue-purple with pink and purple glitter, it's in the permanent line. last time I check.

I have tried it with V. I really liked it. I thought it brought our more of the colored flecks, but I can't remember if I thought it brought out more purple. I also used my Rave pearl liner with it. I will wear it again tonight and see what I think. I will post after I have it on.

black gps + shell cream color base over that + clean finger slightly moisten with fix+ or whatever you got and pat young punk on. it adheres more and looks more purpley glitter with black base. using the mes wet is more intense of course.

using young punk over V also makes it more purple too =D

So I wore Young Punk over V tonight with my gorgeous Rave Pearl Glide. I did not foil it, but I thought the flecks looked more pink than purple. I absolutely love Young Punk, but it did look pink. I went to my MAC counter to buy my pigment sets and all MA's loved my eyes.

i wish the stores in europe would re-stock it too!

A little late to the party but I tracked down Gilt by association and vatm at nordstom and placed an order

I think the twisting mechanism in my greasepaint stick is jammed because no matter how many times I twist the dang thing, it simply refuses to come out of the tube! Thankfully I have another one to use in the meantime, but any suggestions on how to get it fixed?

oh dear... not sure how you can fix it. other than taking it into store and asking them or maybe getting an exchange

you know i've never got around to doing one! i posted up about 10 months ago a picture of my cabinet that i display my make up in... but my collection has grown alot since then!

one day i shall do a collection thread - i think i'd have to set aside a whole afternoon taking pics of everything! it's not as big as some people's collections on here though.... Erine and Bunny's make me drool! but i guess they work for mac which is why they have so much! mine has been collected over the past 4 years
