One of the swatches in the swatch thread looks darn close. I imagine it depends on the veining. This is going to be one of those "need to cherry pick in person" types of items already. I want lavender veining!

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion
So I guess Bubbles is one of those lippies that just adds a little frost-y dimension to lips. Reminds me of Tanarama (bought this from Sundressing, my fave collection ever!!).
I am guessing this one is a little more cool?....

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion
I've been busy, but made a trip to the Mac pro store, I ended up buying quite a bit from SS. I'm tired, so I won't get too specific.
Loved the shadesticks, they seem super creamy.
I got backups of Lollipop Loving and Bubbles. I have no idea why Touch l/s is in this collection, I know it's a permanent color, but yuck.
Sweet Thing L/S is very pretty, a lustre and shimmery hot pink.
I love Sugarshot e/s, looked great over the shadesticks. If you love pale highlighter shadows this ones for you.
Now, my favorites are the MSF's, so gorgeous. I'm definitely buying backups of these. If you are a MSF whore as I am, well you won't be disappointed. I will tell you that on my NC15 skin they are pretty light and I usually can wear MSF's as blush but with these I will need to wear blush. I might be able to use Refined as blush if I use some contour first.
I also got the Peppermint Patti n/p.
FYI, if anyone used the large size container of Taupe (powder blush) which had been discontinued, the pro store (NYC) has it available in the pro palette refill pan only. People complained enough and it was brought back. The ma said we should all complain about Lavender Whip and maybe they will make it permanent.

so does this mean that Perfect Topping could possiblyyyyyy be a suitable dupe for Lightscapade? It's like, my sacred duty as of now to find something that can replace Lightscapade
As of now, I'll probably only get Perfect Topping MSF and a shadestick.
p.s. thanks everyone for the reviews so far!!

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion
wow, it looks like I may still pick up some things from this collection. Or at least go and check it out. Who was I kidding, obviously I don't have the willpower to resist a collection full of pastel colours and a hot pink l/s!!!
Thanks for all the review guys
Patty, what do you think of Saint-Germain on an NW30 person (i.e., me)? You think I can pull it off?

i think i'll end up with both MSFs and hopefully perfect topping will be better than lightscapade.

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion
Thank you all for your reviews!
My updated wishlist is:
- Perfect Topping MSF
- Refined MSF (if it is not too warm)
- Lollipop Loving l/s
- Lemon Chiffon s/s
- Red Velvet s/s
- Cakeshop s/s (big ? here)
- Dear Cupcake (big ? here too)
I am not sure about my April budget yet. If it is too small my list would be:
- Perfect Topping MSF
- Lollipop Loving l/s
- Red Velvet s/s (maybe)

I know...!!!i think time flew by so quickly i forgot that it's been almost 2 years since lure was released! although i have using my eyeshadows and beauty powder from sundressing
lightscapade and albatross both don't do much for my complexion and if i keep trying i end up looking chalky! i have to recommend using them on the bridge of the nose though...wow they make it look sharper!

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion
i'm quite in love with this collection. My shopping list includes all e/s, all lipsticks and both the MSF's. Don't know yet about the glosses though, will have to see them in person...and I've got so many already, do I need more? (we all know the answer to that one lol)

I hope so! I don't think anything will ever be as fabulous as Lightscapade (for me, at least) but if MAC refuses to rerelease it (which makes me very very mad ) I gotta find something else :P

I would agree, Bubbles def looks cool-toned. I recently got a pearly color from mufe, I forget the number but its the lightest shade in the line. I don't think I need Bubbles since I have that, woot!

H&D Corp will not stand for this!

Hey. I think you can actually! It think it really has to do with the application honestly... I know for sure I'll be applying this with a light hand.

I just realized that I have a colur similar to Bubbles: an old (dc'd) Chanel lipstick called Snowflake. It's more of a frosty pale white-pink, but it'll do.

My final list, not changing it...
Bubbles l/s
All shadesticks except for Penny
Done!
And most of it will be covered by HBC points rewards, beauty VIP coupon and a small donation from my mom! (I refused, but she insisted, i love her!).
I am preparing myself for a very low buy, and told my favourite MA about it! She laughed!!!

In my opinion, Perfect Topping and Lightscapade are very different. Lightscapade is way paler and Perfect Topping is much more of a peach color.
here are some swatches: clickable
 Left~Perfect Topping, Right~Lightscapade
I think you can clearly see which is which.
