Prep and Prime Lash dries semi-transparent. It's not really a consistent coloration. I'm assuming (since I haven't tried it) that this new product is more like a mascara and covers more. Anyway, that's the only reason I can think to use it... maybe there are more artistic reasons....???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought everyone's flesh was beige?

I was thinking the same thing, jilliandanica.
These sound really useful, especially those lip erasers.

Re: Nudes and Shapers! Pro Exclusive!
I asked about it at my local MAC store (freestanding) and one of the MA's had heard of it! He was really excited about it, but said they weren't getting it. I didn't think they'd get it, but I had to ask anyway, lol.

Flesh is red and pink, the color of veins, muscle, tissue, etc., not beige. Flesh-tone refers to skintone, and not everyone has beige skin (unless we are counting our palms).

Re: Nudes and Shapers! Pro Exclusive!
Haha I must sound so dumb! I see your point, but generally the colour of 'flesh' is beige, like I worked with a pink-beige oil paint at college named flesh. Anywaay, the mascara sounds ugly

I think the lip erases are not suppose to match ur skintone. I should pick the shade according to how much u want to tone down ur LIP COLOR. Two people can have completely different skin colors, but could have the same lip color

Re: Nudes and Shapers! Pro Exclusive!
I noticed on the website, it says "Currently only available at M·A·C PRO Online. Look for this collection in PRO locations soon."
Wonder long we have to wait...

Re: Nudes and Shapers! Pro Exclusive!
And just to clarify, this is a PRO product, therefore it is geared toward artists in the industry. It's for models (using that loosely; for runway models, photography models, television people, movies, etc) who will appear in ads, on runways, and on movies/television. It's not being marketed to the average consumer. Luc told us that he has been experimenting and testing it backstage. That is probably why not many have heard of it, because not alot of people on this website are actually like major runway/movie star/etc makeup artists, we're more of consumer artists.

Well said. Additionally in pro use, when you need a soft eye or brow, think the charecter Story in Lady in the Water or the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narina, the new Pro Lash in Bare Lash can help you acheive that.
I would like to try it. Say a coat of black mascara on the whole lash, then tip the lashes with Bare Lash and then add coloured mascara.

You can still buy em. Just call a pro store and do a phone order.
You'll have to wait a while, of course, since none of the stores have the product yet.

does that mean that the contouring products won't work for daily use by us non-famous people? are the results too dramatic, dark, or obvious if you're looking at someone in person? hopefully my question makes sense. what i'm trying to say is that i know often times models wear make-up that is much heavier then what would be appropriate in real life in order for things to show up well on film. would these products fall into this model-only, not-for-real-life category?

I think the first issue is time. Most people just can't be bothered contouring on a daily basis. In my case, I'll probably only use it for special occasions.
Also, most people probably won't contour as heavily as backstage mu artists. Those razor sharp cheekbones looks good on the runway, but sometimes a little too much for everyday. I would personally prefer some subtle definition.

Re: Nudes and Shapers! Pro Exclusive!
I just got my lip eraser in!!! I tried light becuase I'm NC15, though I have VERY pigmented lips. I am in love!!! I'm so tired of colors being affected by the color in my lips. This is the perfect solution. It has a great consistency. Once it's on it doesn't feel like anything! I highly reccomend this product--HIGHLY!
