Specktra Scoop - MAC has a created a VERY LIMITED lipstick called "California Dreamin'" only to be released in California, FOR FREE!

Here is how it works, beginning next week MAC Cosmetics will begin mailing postcards that say California Dreamin on them (the postcard is rumored to be very cute). It's as simple as bringing in your postcard to SELECT MAC stores/counters and you will recieve a free Limited Edition California exclusive lipstick.

California Dreamin is described by a source as "a pretty baby blue pink (lustre)".

This shade CANNOT BE PURCHASED, the bottom of the lipstick is marked NOT FOR SALE! A word to the wise - be on the lookout CA guys and gals!

Even more reason to be happy that I'm a third generation Californian. The color sounds gorgeous. Are they mailing the postcards out with orders or just randomly to customers?

I'm wondering if they plan to do this in other states as well. It just seems so odd to make it a California only thing. Not that I'm complaining. If they do make it an "other version for other states" things, I foresee a lot of fun swaps in the future as in "I'll trade you my New Jersey for your Florida".

YAY! I just got myself in the MAC system on Monday here in CA LOL. I hope I get one. It sounds pretty, but to bad its a luster. But hey, if its free I'll take it! I hope I get it, I hope I get it, I hope I get it... LOL.

Yes. woohoo..so happy. But I hope, I get one because I never get postcards in the mail, except one dazzleglass. And I have been with them for a while already. Hmmm I wonder of the mail lady steals mine..lol..Does anyone know if when it comes to postcards MAC randomly sends them, and whoever gets them, gets them??
