This is not doing anything for me. I could think of many other combos that would look great with the four that are in there, but this looks like a little teeny tray of condiments to me. LOL

How many more frosty black e/s (or is that navy??) and whites do we need? Seeme like every single palette that they put out has a freaking glittery black and glittery white e/s's. NEXT!

I have been thinking... we all know how notorious MAC is for having inacurate colors in their promo images... maybe it isn't YELLOW in the quad. Maybe it is gold instead? That would make for a more wearable set of color combos, IMO.

I actually really like Satin Taupe! But I do agree that since is is a regular color that we don't need it re-promoted in a ton of quads or palettes. Maybe MAC is running out of colors because it seems that there is a lack of originality lately.

i don't think the quad is ugly, but the colors look very random. the lightest color is the only one satin taupe is not clashing with, and mostly it's because nothing clashes with a neutral highlighting color.

i just think that it would make more sense to put a green or pink in the quad instead of satin taupe. maybe the quad would look better in real life

please tell me that is not rondelle in the quad for the third time, as for satin taupe, brown doesn't work for me. i do like the odd pairing of the colors and the yellow is not all that bad.

But it doesn't even look like Satin Taupe! It looks really brown in that pic! I also would never wear yellow so forget that. Plus i already own satin taupe and really want knight divine but i'll definetly be passing on this quad!

I believe I read on livejournal that its a blue in the quad, not a gray. I think that makes even less sense. Strange quad mix

Okay, here's what I'm thinking. Maybe you dont have to use the colors together. (unless thats what they were going for)

If so then um, what the heck were they thinking? The messed up part for me is, I REALLY started getting into MAC around mid-late 2007, so I missed all of the pretty quads. When I finally get into MAC, the quads are bleh.

lol maybe i'm off my rocker but i think they could go together. i will try an eye with some yellow on the inner lid, satin taupe on the rest of the lid, then a colour like knight divine to darken the crease and see what transpires. ive never done that combo before so i'm not understanding the repulsion
