Best tips, advice, recs MAC MAs have given you?

I have tried lots of eye makeup removal oil/lotion but wasn't really completly satisfied with what i've tried. Especially waterproof mascara or gel liners.

Now I use ponds cold cream, works like a charm and leaves my eyelids very soft.
I got this from my mother, she's been using cold cream since she was 16 haha

I hear lots of people rave about cold cream but for me i just don't feel clean enough afterwards. oh well

^ i know, that's why i clean my face with a face wash first (i usually look like a panda bear afterwards with dark circles around my eyes hehe) and then i do the cold cream

I like the toilet seat cover thing too, I know people look at me crazy when I go in the bathrom to wip my dface on it haha

But a MAC ma recently told me , for brown girls, it's best not to use a MAC shadow to highlight, instead use a concealer that a couple of shades lighter, and it also shapes ur brows as well

I just tried this and it worked like a charm!!

Adding mine, dab vaseline around the outer edge of jar paint pots and fluid lines before screwing the cap back on. Vaseline forms an airtight barrier to prevent drying up.

Wet n Wild lipstick in #525 is almost the exact same color as MAC Up the Amp, and its only $1. Does this count as a beauty tip??
