Can a lovely lady in the US help me out by doing a search for me?

I put in a call to look for a couple products and was told most, (all but 1) of the products I was looking for were to old to be searched for.

That seems to me to say that this program is only for discontinued products, not ones that were LE to begin with. Though I could be wrong about that...

A Mac MA told me they can search for LE items as well since they kinda are discontinued since they aren't coming back unless its re-released.

I put in request for some items, but I didn't want to abuse it, so I only asked for one of each. I'll be more than pleased if I get even just one item off my wish list, as they are all LE items.

I called in and asked for at least one of the major things everybody was wanting. What did I get? A message blah blah blah...but then a package came the other day...and in it was ONE Who's That Lady....

As far as the time span goes I've heard it was 18 months, but I know for sure a couple of the things I asked for were more recent than that and they still said I couldn't do a search for those items. My best guess is that the time span is closer to 12 months rather than 18.

Yay so the search request I did for the Diana #168 brush is still in that time span!

Now I hope they answer me! Gosh I want this brush sooo much I would sell my kidney for it!

Ohh how long was it between the time of your request and the time you received the item?

Allow four to six weeks for the search was what I was told. I asked to be called before they bill and ship though.

Hmm they told me they would only notify me if they were unable to find something and they do not call before billing

I DO know that the Bloomingdales counter at The Falls in Miami has Orange Tangent eyeshadow (at least they did a few weeks ago when I was working there)...

That's not what I was told. I gave an order of one each of the three items I wanted them to search for. They will call when and if they find them and I can give them my credit card number then for billing. I also have an existing account with them, so maybe that is why I don't have to pay until they find them.

Do you have an account with them with a credit card on file? I think that maybe why. I have ordered quite a bit of items from their online store. She pulled up all of my account info. first and confirmed it with me before taking my search items down.

Yep I do have an account w/them whenever I phone orders in they already have my card info

I called yesterday and the girl I talked to said that they can either take down how many you want and bill you and ship them when they get it, or they can call you if/when they find it and you can tell them then. I wish that those employees wouldn't make their own rules!!!! If you called and they said you had to leave a credit card number I would call again and talk to someone else!

That is exactly what I was told. Maybe someone just didn't understand how this was supposed to work when she told her that.

I called after getting my e-mail yesterday and they tried to force me to leave a credit card number. I said I didn't feel comfortable doing that because I didn't know how many they'd send or what they would send. She said abruptly, "Fine we'll mail you a letter in 6 weeks". I think I'm going to try calling back today to get someone else.

The woman told me they would mail me a letter in 6 weeks notifying me of what they COULDN'T locate!

I called the number back when this thread was first posted. They told me I could EITHER leave my credit card info(which I did) OR wait for them to contact me and give the info to them then.
The lady I talked to was very nice, also.

I would have preferred to have them contact me and then give the info.. but oh well, hopefully I get something good out of it
