I put in a call to look for a couple products and was told most, (all but 1) of the products I was looking for were to old to be searched for.

A Mac MA told me they can search for LE items as well since they kinda are discontinued since they aren't coming back unless its re-released.

I put in request for some items, but I didn't want to abuse it, so I only asked for one of each. I'll be more than pleased if I get even just one item off my wish list, as they are all LE items.

As far as the time span goes I've heard it was 18 months, but I know for sure a couple of the things I asked for were more recent than that and they still said I couldn't do a search for those items. My best guess is that the time span is closer to 12 months rather than 18.

Allow four to six weeks for the search was what I was told. I asked to be called before they bill and ship though.

That's not what I was told. I gave an order of one each of the three items I wanted them to search for. They will call when and if they find them and I can give them my credit card number then for billing. I also have an existing account with them, so maybe that is why I don't have to pay until they find them.

I called yesterday and the girl I talked to said that they can either take down how many you want and bill you and ship them when they get it, or they can call you if/when they find it and you can tell them then. I wish that those employees wouldn't make their own rules!!!! If you called and they said you had to leave a credit card number I would call again and talk to someone else!

I called after getting my e-mail yesterday and they tried to force me to leave a credit card number. I said I didn't feel comfortable doing that because I didn't know how many they'd send or what they would send. She said abruptly, "Fine we'll mail you a letter in 6 weeks". I think I'm going to try calling back today to get someone else.

I called the number back when this thread was first posted. They told me I could EITHER leave my credit card info(which I did) OR wait for them to contact me and give the info to them then.
