How many brushes do you use for one m/u application?

239 or 242 for lower lid
224 for crease
222 for crease and more detail
219 for liner or to smudge

So that would be 11. Thats alot, I know, but brushes are your your biggest tool and they should be utilized!

I don't wear any makeup other than my eyes (and lipgloss) so my eye makeup is usually the only thing I'm using brushes for. I have a lot of Sonia Kashuk brushes in small and medium sizes, and I have one for reds and oranges, one for golds and browns (and yellows and greens when necessary but I don't use those often) one for pinks, one for purples (and blues, but I don't use those often either) and one for white. Finally, there is my designated black brush which I use for large areas of black, and I have fondly nicknamed it Mr. Fluff. I also have a small brush I use for liner, and an angled brush that I use to fill in my eyebrows.

(another) 217 brush to apply color all over lid

If I am going out for a night out and i have some time to play around I use LOADS of brushes! But on an average day just getting ready for work I would say about five?

• Blusher Brush
• Two Eyeshadow brushes
• Liquid liner brush

Although I have 3 foundation brushes, I tend to use my hands. It's quicker and smoother. It's so easy to blend with my fingers!

For my cheeks, I use 129 and 188.
For eyes, I use 219, 217 x2 and the flat definer brush from the costco brush set.

It really depends on what Im doing with my makeup and how many different eyeshadows Im using. I do tend to use my fingers a lot though, I just think its easier to blend, like someone said before.

I don't own any mac brushes, only artist brushes. I personally think they are just as good, you just need to know what you are looking for. For the price i think its totally worth it, and i love them to death! =)
