Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I rub the brush onto a dry sponge wedge. The sponge gets almost all the color off. It works well.

I bought an inexpensive bag of 32 sponges at the pharmacy.

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
keep a bottle of 99.9 % alcohol , it gets colour out really good but 70 % alcohol will kill bacteria. This isn't good for your brushes don't excessively so just invest in a brush cleaner doll! Washing your brushes is good for them as long as you use a mild shampoo like baby shampoo!

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
it really depends on how much time I have that day but I usually just use one side of a brush for one colour. If i have multiple colours and I don't want to use another brush then I just wipe it off with TP

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
If the colours are light or similar then i just flip the brush over and use the other side. I have found some nice colour mixes that way lol
If they are dark or too contrasting then i give them a wipe with a extra sensitive non perfumed baby wipe

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I do the same as many other members: I wipe the brush off on a piece of toilet paper, then I spray the brush with some cleaner and wipe it a few more times until it runs clear.

Personally, my human hair brushes give me more trouble with cleaning than my synthetic ones. I would assume synthetic brushes are less porous.

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I generally try to apply eyeshadow with only one side of the brush so I can just use the other side for a different colour. If colour transfer is a problem then I'll just rub it over the back of my hand a few times since I usually have no time!

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I rub mine back and forth on toilet paper until it doesn't leave any more color. And I try to use darker colors all with the same brush, lighter colors with another.

+1 Works well for me. Other times I just wipe it off on my hand until the color is gone.

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
^haha I do that too, if I'm in a hurry- wipe it back and forth on my hand. Sometimes I wipe it off on a tissue until it is clear. If I have time (which isn't likely) I use a spray of MAC brush cleaner and then wipe it back and forth on a tissue until no color comes off.

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I just wipe it off on the back of my hand. In fact I use the back of my hand for many sorts of things when I do make-up. So I always have to wash my well painted hands afterwards.

Re: How to use the same brush for more than one eyeshadow?
I don't bother with spot cleaning, especially if I'm in a rush and it's early in the morning and stuff.

I just swipe it on the back of my hand until most of the colour is gone.
