Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
I didn`t now where to place this thread, if it`s in the wrong place, sorry
My problem is my Smashbox primer, and I remember reading that other people had this problem too but never saw a solution to it
So I would say my bottle still has 20% left but I just can`t use it, can get it out.
What did you do?

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
Good question - my bottle is getting low, and I never thought about the fact that I wouldn't be able to get all of the product out. Hmmm - I hope someone has a solution for this! I hate to have to crack the glass open! (Oops - I guess it's not glass, but heavy plastic - but still...)

I had the same issue, now I only buy them in the squeeze tube so I can get every drop and i can controll exactly how much I need.

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
It sucks, but I now have to unscrew the top and I use new popsicle sticks to get an individual use out... or if I'm not prepared I'll use the end of one of my clean make up brushes. It's just too expensive to leave 1/5th of the bottle.

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
err, I found a snug plastic plug -- like a wine bottle plug and put that in. I keep it upside down until I have been able to use it all up. I keep trying to find a pump top but they don't fit yet

Has anyone tried to melt it? I`m afraid it might change the consistency but I`m tempted to melt it and pour it in something else. What do you think?

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
Hmm, I would be worried that it wouldn't return to it's regular state if it was melted. But, if you do try it... let us know how it works out for you.

Actually I did the same! Q-tip worked! Never buying that again! Have u tried a cheaper version of primers? Watch alot of youtube and I came across alot of people buying the Monistat Chafing Powder Gel. And it works just as well as any primer and so inexpensive! Has the same texture as SmashboX Primer!

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
Smashbox works really well for me - so I may just go to the squeeze tube next time. It's a shame - I do like the pump but I'd rather be able to use the product.

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
Didn`t found a solution yet, other than use a make-up spatula to get some product every time I need some. Still it has plenty in the corners and upper corners that I doubt I `ll be ever able to use it. Smashbox worked for me better than other brands but this pisses me of so I think I`ll try the Mac one next.
Thanks everyone for their input, much appreciated

Re: Smashbox primer- how do I get all of it out
The chafing gel doesn't work as well on me. I have oily skin so I need the photo finish light. If the photo finish light isn't available I will get the medi-matte by Cosmedicine. And it also has I think SPF 20 or 15, I can't remember which, so I don't have to slather on another moisturizer with sunblock in it.
The medi-matte is just as good as a primer for me.

Have any of you seen the new Smashbox primer bottles? They have a bottom that rides up every time you pump, it works really well!
