Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
I think I've purchased at least 5 different mascaras in the past month. For now at the top of my list is L'Oreal Telescopic in carbon black... I love it!!! First I use the base coat of the Maybelline XXL and than I apply about two coats of telescopic and it does the trick for me.
I've also been playing around with NYX Doll Eye (long Lash) I like it but not enough to replace my telescopic
I used to be an avid Great Lash wearer now I can't stand the stuff.

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
My absolute favorite, hands down, has to be CLINIQUE DOUBLING MASCARA!!!!
For me, it lengthens, thickens, volumizes, separates; everything!
And it doesn't weigh down my lashes or clump (which a lot of mascaras do, as I have long/super-full lashes to begin with).
Of course, I DO use a lash comb & a clean mascara wand - it's actually an *old old old* princess Marcella Borghese Mascara - loooove that brush for separating lashes!!
But even if I don't use these for extra separation, Clinique Doubling Mascara still wins hands down for me, compared to any mascara out there. And I've tried tons; department store, high end & drug store brands alike.
To each their own!
Be Well,
Kaylee

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
After using CG fantastic lash for 4 years I finally tried a MAC mascara and I can't say I was very impressed.. Now I'm absolutely LOVING the CG lash blast in waterproof, very black. Its got a funny smell and ok ok its hard to get off, but my lashes have never been this great! I get compliments on them all the time now which makes me a happy camper.. I have horse lashes!

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
I have decent, but pretty short eyelashes and I've found that the lashes that work best for me, giving length has been Covergirl lashblast; and for that feathery everyday look I use Maybelline Full n' Soft

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
I tried 3 different Lancome mascaras recently Hypnose, L'extreme and Virtuoso.
Favourite is L'extreme, they really do lengthen my lashes

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
I will always have a love for Avon's Daring Definition and Uplifting mascaras, but I don't buy them anymore since they don't make them in navy. I love Clinique's High Definition mascara, but it's so hard to apply. I'm also liking High Impact by Clinique.
And if all else fails, I go Defencils Pro.

OMG, I couldn't agree more....I got this mascara in a GWP and loved it to pieces. I got Too Faced LAsh Injection with the Glam giftset and it has made my lashes mad it was so not good for me, lol. Clinique will never be replaced, I think I've finally found my HG mascara

I agree with you on the Diorshow. It feels dry. Its clumpy and it flakes off during the day. It really is annoying because I wear contacts and it gets in my eye and irritates it and that bugs me the whole day. I really love any mascara from Lancome. I sitll have yet to ind my HG though...What should I try next?

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
Im gonna go with a drug store brand, I absolutely love L'oreals Telescopic or the Lash Architect. I know im a MAC whore but i absolutely hate their mascaras!! The Dior show does that just add thickness or does it also lengthen?

Nice and thick, but you have to layer it to get length, it gets clumpy though if you start to layer it too much.

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
My faves are Lancome Magnascopic and Projectionist and a newly discovered Clinique High Impact. I don't really need length because I already have it so these are fantastic to add fullness, everyone always comments that it looks like I'm wearing falsies when its just my mascara!

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
MAC Plushlash. I used to be into Maybelline Full 'N Soft, which was my HG mascara and I never used anything else... but then I tried MAC's Plushlash and fell in love. It's absolutely amazing and it's reasonably priced. I get thickness and length. I also love the brush because I hate thin mascara brushes. :P The brush is also very soft.

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
I've tried almost EVERYTHING, but nothing to me beats Bourjois volume clubbing in ultra black....it's even more dramatic than diorshow and i always get that, "are those fake eyelashes?" question =D You've gotta try it, you can get it at Ulta.
This is the way you MUST apply it, otherwise it will look really clumpy:
These 2 flats sides and 2 bristled sides, you scrape the excess off the lip of the tube, dip your lashes in the flat side to coat them, and then keep combing them through with the bristled side til you get the length, volume, and separation you want.
I also LOVE that it's ultra resistant, doesn't flake, the only thing is it's a little harder to take off, but they come off in tubes.

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
Givenchy's EYE FLY!!!!
There is nothing like this stuff for lengthening..I know a lot of people go for volume/thickening...By my 'thing' is length..I've already got reasonably voluminous lashes..but they are short. Eye Fly takes care of me!
This stuff is pricey...about $23; but in my mind, it's worth every penny..As most of us know, lashes really define the face and eye...We've all seen those posts on Specktra with one eye done ONLY in mascara, and the other eye with nothing on it (to show the difference mascara makes), and it's a HUGE difference!
I also like Shu Uemura's Fiber-Something mascara...It's about the same price of Eye Fly...but it's more geared toward thickening/volume...It adds some length, but, like I said, it's specialty is really not lengthening...You want length, go Eye Fly!

Re: Your Favorite Mascara?
Oddly enough, I like Maybelline's Great Lash in blackest black. I liked Lancome's Definicils too, but my budget can't handle that all the time lol
