Trouble with Urban Decay products :(
Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help? I bought several Urban Decay products at the weekend, including the Book of Shadows II, Deluxe Shadow Box, 24/7 Stash and 24/7 glide on pencils in yeyo (white), Gunmetal and Electric (blue). I was so excited, but unfortunately I'm getting disappointing results

The white eyeliner won't go onto my waterline (I wanted it for a theatrical show, so I need it to enlarge my eyes) and instead just sticks in my lower lashes and makes a mess. It also refuses to go on smoothly around my eyes - I'm putting on Primer Potion first. My MAC eyeshadows (Gesso - matte white, and Typographic - matte asphalt) are also reluctant to play nicely with the Primer Potion, especially the Gesso.

Yesterday I played with the BOS and the eye pencils, and again noticed that the colours didn't lie as nicely as I expected over the Primer Potion - the shadows were muddy looking and the pencils were lumpy Not at all like the lovely results I've seen online.

Has anyone else had trouble, or am I just unlucky? Any advice would be extremely welcome!

Thanks

Re: Trouble with Urban Decay products :(
I always had a problem with the Yeyo -- the white eyeliner from 24/7. It never stays on the water line and is not imo a great product.

As far as the UDPP -- it is a good product, but I seldom use it now since I am more into my MAC paint pots or the Shiseido Gel liners and ES. These are more expensive than MAC but I get better results. Try using less of the UDPP and you might find that the shadows go on easier -- especially in the crease where UDPP makes my ES glop up .. sorry you are going thru this... but don't give up.

^I have actually switched eye primers (Shadow Insurance now instead of UDPP) because UD's shadow didn't go on as smoothly. Try using another primer and see how you like it.

EXACT same problem. I can't work Yeyo on my waterline. The others work perfectly but I hate that one.

I'm the same! Zero goes on fab on my waterline, but Yeyo won't show up at all, just puts a slight glaze on it but no colour

I've had no troubles with my UDPP though...

Re: Trouble with Urban Decay products :(
I really love the color of Bourbon eyeliner (I got a mini), but I'm pretty sure the minute glitter in it comes off and makes my eyes water. They water a little every time I wear that liner.

Which sucks, because it's creamy and glides on and the colors they offer are beautiful. Does anyone else have this issue?

Re: Trouble with Urban Decay products :(
I have the exact same problem, only it's with "Bourbon" not "Yeyo", and I have simply given up on it. "Zero" is my all-time favorite pencil for my waterline, though.
