Wet 'N' Wild Color Icon palette

Comments: Browsing my walgreens the other day, I saw these new Wet N Wild palettes on display.

I got the one called Lust cuz one of the colors totally made me think of MAC's young punk (black with pink glitter) so i got it right away... okay so it's not an exact dupe sadly (i found out its a dupe for beautymarked though, thanks to easyaccessbeauty from youtube), but it's still very pretty. The light matte color and the non-mattes are super creamy, while the darker mattes are a little bit on the chalky side.. but for 5 bucks i definitely would buy more

Now the one thing that I truly dislike about this is the package it comes in.. the top is so hard to open and usually ends up with the mini brushes all over the floor


edit: So I went to Rite Aid today and ended up getting Pride and Greed. While Greed is pretty neutral looking, the non-matte black one has this nice teal glitter in it.. and the purple/gray one has like a gold sheen, really cool when you build them up. Pride seems pretty ordinary, but I did love the 2 blue colors it contained.

Hey I bought all the pallets and I am very happy with them! They are all highly pigmented and creamy lots of MAC dupes too!

The MAC dupes I have found are in the Pride and Lust pallets. In the Lust pallet the top color on the left side is a dupe for Pen & Pink MAC, the color right below it is a dupe for Fig one, below it is a dupe for Shadowy Lady, across from Shadowy Lady is Night Devine, above night devine is a dupe for Beauty marked but the glitter doesn't fall out!

The Pride pallet: Top left side is a dupe for Jesso MAC next over is a dupe for Nylon MAC, below nylon is a dupe for Steamy wich is an older MAC color, on the right side of steamy is a dupe for either shimmer moss or newly minted, then in the bottom right corner is a dupe for deep truth.

They may not be exact but they are super close and some of the wet & wilds are even more pigmented and more creamy than the MAC colors! Tell me what you think!?

I did a look with Lust today and it was great, but about a couple hours in, it got all muddy on me.

I just bought them the other day, I'm excited to use them. I hope they don't turn muddy on me....yuk!

I am HUMBLED by the quality of these shadows! When I was first told about them, I turned my nose up (I'm so ashamed!) 'cause really... Wet n' Wild? But omg... they are GOOD. I use them a lot more than I ever anticipated. I've had to buy repeats of 'Vanity' and 'Lust' because I use those colors the most.

I'm glad to hear others are enjoying the palettes and not having the same issues I am. I still stand by what I said in a different thread which was-

I have the vanity -one Love it
Got the pride one -returned it because it was chalky and stained my skin
Just got the Lust one and im not liking it either one of the matte colors looks like a bruise on me 3 other colors are chalky and have no color pay off on my eyes and the only one I really like is the gunmetal gray but I can find that else where I really regret getting it oh well i will put it in my don't use pile.

I really wanted to love all of these palettes but sadly can't.

I've found some pretty close MAC dupes for the Vanity palette: upper left - Bisque, middle left - Wedge, lower left - Embark, upper right - Nylon, middle right - Gorgeous Gold, & lower right - Mulch.

I've got all 4 of these & really like them for the price. I've found that some of the matte colors do seem chalky, but the lasting power on these e/s is amazing

Maybe it's because I grew up in the 80's but I am having the hardest time believing that W&W is all that. I'm hearing it so much good stuff, that I'm thisclose to buying it...lol.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! But I had to stand down on these pallettes. They work. They really do.

I love these and I have three of them, the one thing I have to say is that some of them are a little hard to work with because they are SO pigmented. The first time I tried using the purple palette, it came out pretty bad because I didn't anticipate how pigmented they were! I was sure that all of the blogs I had seen these on were exaggerating, but seriously these eyeshadows are really all of that and a bag of chips! There's a couple of colors between the three palettes that I have that are not so great, but I figure MAC has some reject colors as well (lustres, I'm looking at you), and when it's only like one color palette per palette I'm not too worried about it! These are plain awesome for the price and there's some really pretty and unique colors as well!

Too pigmented? thats a complaint I can live with!

Got Vanity (Gold), Pride (Blue), and Lust (Plums)!
I depotted them right away! Be careful the mattes I was lusting away had accidents galore.

Thanks so much for mentioning these! I was snubbing these just because they were WnW; had no idea these were dupe-a-reffic!

With 15 identified e/s dupes and 2 possible pigment dupes that's $256.50 of savings!!!
And I only paid less than $10 (especially with the manufacturer's coupon for a $1 off I've swiped off a few of these palettes at other stores, lol)!
