Okay..so how is this matte if it won't stay on your skin??
It's chalky, doesn't blend well, it's too air whipped to do anything!!

Would you buy this product again? No way.
Not only could I not find a good match for my skintone, but it felt gross on my face. It doesn't wear long at all, because a couple of hours after I applied it, I started seeing patches where the foundation was coming off. Worst of all, it made me break out some kind of bad.
Unless you have absolutely NO skin issues at all, don't even CONSIDER this. And even if you do have perfect skin, it might screw that up mighty fast.

I really like this because its so SO blendable. And since im young i really don't need much coverage but i do like to wear a light foundation just as a nice base and this is one of the few foundations i've found that actually makes a color LIGHT enough for me. Half the companies lightest colors are even darker than me when i have a tan ahhaha. anyways I love this a lot, the only thing is the pakaging which has this weird glass bottom which is actually so heavy to carry around in your makeup bag ahahhaha but thats a sacrifice i'm willing to make

Would you buy this product again? Definitely not.
Ive tried using this foundation a couple times. When I first bought it, I thought it was great, and it matched my skin wonderfully. But then after a while, even when I used moisturizer underneath (I have dry skin) it made me flake no matter what Once I got a good look at how it was on me, I realized it was too dark on me, so I looked a bit orange, and I was using the lightest colour. It was also extremely chalky, and after about an hour of wearing it, I could see like the patches of where it was coming off, and I couldnt add more on without making it look cakey, I definitely don't recommend this.

Would you buy this product again? Heck no!
When looking for cheap alternatives for cheap makeup to keep backstage at a cosplay contest, I tried out the Dream Matte Mousse and it should be a nightmare. Even with perfect complexion it sinks into pores making them look like craters, coverage is weird, comfort is zero and also made me break out. Maybe it's me, maybe it's maybelline.

i loved the coverage this gave when i first applied it. (but i noticed it made my "dry spots" a lot more noticable) after a few hours wear it made my skin dry & flakey.. & after using it for only one day i broke out like crazy!! i've never had any problems with my skin before so i was not impressed.

Would you buy this product again? Propably!
Comments: Well, let me tell you that at first it looks horrible on your skin (maybe I put on too much, I'll use less product next time!), but after 30 minutes it looks good! Well, every foundation/tinted moisturizer needs its time to sink in your skin etc.! You must have used a scrub and some good moisturizer on your face before applying this foundation, because it does accentuate your dry patches!
It covers well though and it kept my oily face oil-free for 4 hours (I went out, came back after 4 hours and then I removed my makeup, so I don't know how my skin would look like in 5-6 hours, but I'm pretty sure it would look good!)! I've found a very good match (Natural Ivory) and there's no color difference between my face and my neck! It also didn't break me out or caused any irritation, which is good!
So, as a conclusion: Try it only if you have oily skin and if you've used a scrub and some good moisturizer on your face before applying this foundation!

Would you buy this product again? Maybe.
Comments: I had this for a little while [until it got stolen! >.<] and for the duration, I thought it worked pretty well. I have oily skin anyway, so there weren't really dry spots for it to accentuate. The color I got happened to match my skin tone very well, too.

Would you buy this product again? Never
I tried this when i ran out of MAC and was waiting for a chance to drive 1 1/2 hrs to get somemore. Big mistake. It broke me out, didn't match my skin tone (i'm NW20 and i tried 2 shades that were closest to my skin color....neither matched.) Again...i broke out....not just 1 or 2 pimples....like a chin full! Horrible. Don't buy this if you are prone to breakouts...heck, don't buy it at all...lol, just my opinion.

I friggin am addicted to dream matte mousse, I use number 4....its pretty light but just perfect for my skin. I feel so light and covered when i wear it., And i dont dig my fingers in it lol i put it on with a sponge or now i use my smashbox foundation bruish. It covers great!!! and their blushes are even better.

Would you buy it again? Negative Red Leader...
I bought this because it seemed like it would go on light and wouldnt get greasy, which it didnt. Kudos there. BUT Even after using a brush or sponge to apply I started looking chunky in its little jar. Gross. I threw it out. And I was a tad grossed out. I also noticed a chalkyness when I didnt put my moisturizer underneath...Wont be buying again.

Would you buy this product again? Absolutely not. Yuck.
I hate this stuff. There is no color that works for me. I hate the texture of it, and it absolutely refuses to blend for me. As soon as I step out into natural light I'd find streaks no matter how much time I spent blending it in. About the only thing that I did like about it was the price, lol.

I actually quite like this stuff, I agree it does need a lot of blending, if you dont blend well it can turn orange. But, it lives a flawless, matte finish.

Would you buy this product again? Hmm... sure.
I already have a foundatin that I love (Graftobian Glamour Creme) but I bought this while shopping for groceries out of curiosity. I've read the reviews, and a lot of people HATE it, and a lot of people LOVE it - no in between. On one hand, it's very silicone-rich, and some people react badly to it. On the other, I love my silicone-based makeup primer, so how bad could it be?
It actually works out pretty okay for me. I'm an Asian NC25-30ish, and I wear Light 4 - Nude. It's a decent match, though it seems to wear off as the day goes on in patches. Coverage is nice though, and it leaves a great finish. I dislike how I have to dip my fingers in the jar, but I can deal with it - I usually use a sponge anyway. Since I prefer my Graftobian (longer lasting), I keep this for use as body makeup, since it's so cheap and fairly pigmented, and it works well for me in that capacity.

This is a pretty thick foundation, but on days where I'm completely broken out nothing is better. You would think that it would break one out, because it is so incredibly thick, but it didn't ever break me out personally. I don't like putting my fingers in it, so I would sometimes use a foundation brush, but even then it is still a breeding ground for bacteria. I may buy again.

I was really disapointed with this product. It was crumbly and did not go on my face smoothly. I felt like i needed a putty knife to apply this product.

After using CG liquid/powder foundation for a good 7 years, I decided to change because my skin had started breaking out and gotten really oily. My sister (who also has oily skin), and mom (who has dry skin) SWORE by the Dream Matte Mousse by Maybelline, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I LOVED it. It goes on smoothly with a wedge sponge, blends easily, and stays on for a good 5 hours without having to repowder (I set it with a loose mineral powder, and use pressed powder for touch ups). I find it covers the dark circles under my eyes very well.
I DID find it made my skin look a tad flaky while in Colorado (being from Ontario, the land of humidity, Colorad REALLY dried out my skin), but all was well when I used a bit of Aveeno moisturizer before applying the Mousse.
I've used high priced and drugstore foundations, and find this to be the best I've tried so far.

well i have a love/hate realtionship with this. Fawn matches my skin perfectly so i was lucky and i can wear it every day for a week and think my skin looks great but then i decide it looks too matte and dont touch it for days!!! its provides really good coverage though i dont even need concealer when i wear this nad its very blendable.Minus point for the packaging though, the pot really annoys me!!

Well, when this product first came out, I loved it. It matched my skin tone well and application was pretty easy. I bought it two times, and I'm on my second pot but now I realized how horrible it is. Basically, my skin is oily & flaky so it really accentuates these bad characteristics. Also, the consistency of the product changes, and the 'whipped mousse' texture disappears and gets oily and clumpy.
Overall, it's cheap but I wouldn't buy it again.

It doesn't feel like anything at all and blends very easily. I hate the fact that you have to use your fingers for it. there's always double dipping for me and I have acne so it's a big nono. it looks dirty after some use in the jar so I wipe off the top layer because I don't want all the dirt and oil to end up on my skin. it also doesn't last all day for me because I have oily skin. it will settle in cracks after some time and the container is heavy for no reason..

Re: Maybelline: Dream Matte Mousse (foundation)
I'd use it, i used it before and it works great for oily skin with some sheer powder on top, just blot here and there and your ready to go. Also for some it works, and for some it don't work. But my opinon on it is it worked for me, now again not all foundation's work for all. But do i use it anymore, honestly to say no, i love it, but i have to say that i love MAC Studio Fix NW35 alot better.

I LOVE this foundation. It covers so well, stays on well. Seriously, the only foundation that I'll ever use. You don't need a lot and OMG, its so smooth. I don't mind using my fingers to blend it in since it really is the only thing I've found that covers well and completely.
