I got Whipped Strawberries at Walmart, and I do like the cream-to powder thing, but it doesn't last at all on my oily skin . Even when I had powder under it, it still wiped off pretty easily for me. I think this color was a little too pink for my skin, which isn't the product's fault, it was mine in not knowing which color to get. Nevertheless, i couldn't blend it as well as I can with a powder blush. Maybe I just have poor blending skills (most likely yes) and do not know how to apply this product to make most of what it has to offer. Despite those complaints, this product really isn't that horrible, honestly. It just doesn't fit my preference. The only main real complaint is the staying power.

And I think they could have done a better job with the glass pot. They make it so chubby. I really don't think they need that thick of glass to hold that amount of blush. They can trim down on the glass to a smaller size to reduce weight of the product in your bag and also give your bag more space.

I am a NW25 with dry skin. What color would you suggest? Is there a "trick" to putting it on? Thanks

General Comments on this product: I could not find a single colour to suit me, however I did get it for under $5 so it was a cheap mistake. It looked so wrong on me, it clogged my pores and helped me breakout (along with the maybelline matte mousse foundi). It does show up well though and might be a good if I could find a better colour.

I love the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. I never tried the blush version. The foundation is amazing it gives u a smooth complexion and its not that expensive. I'm a chocolate sista and thats what it looks like pure chocolate! I have dry skin and u can't even tell with this, its my go to when I want to change from MAC Moistureblend.

Comments: although I love almost everything about this blush (I have pink frosting, and sating peach) I wish that there was a different way to apply it than with one's fingers. Also because I'm in Canada (and they price gauge us even though our dollar is worth more than the US right now) I get to pay around ten dollars for it, which is a little pricy for drug store blush.
The blush can be applied with a various sponges, brushes, and of course fingers.

There is a separate thread for the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse product.

General comments
: I have been wearing this product since I was in eighth grade (three years ago). I purchased this product after seeing the product in a friend's purse after ballet class (the girl is gorgeous, and her cheeks were no exception!). I purchased the product in Peach Satin, which is the same shade she had, since we have similar coloring. I applied the product to my cheeks with my fingers for a year and a half, during which time I used half of the product. Unfortionately I lost the container, so I didn't finish the remaining product! I have repurchased the product, and I apply it with either the MAC 187 brush, or the MAC 188 brush. If I want a sculpted look, I use the 188 brush, while if I just want a natural/flushed look, I use the 187 brush.
The product lasts a very long time, looks very natural, and I have no complaints about it! I have read some complaints that people feel the product can get dirty in it's packaging. I've thought a lot about it, and I can't think of a better form of packaging (please keep in mind the product is a mousse!). Also, the product will only get as dirty as MAC Cream Color Bases, MAC Blush Creams, etcetera.
I recommend this product to every one! Maybelline cosmetics are frequently on sale.. purchase one then!

I have it in pink frosting and I smear it on with a little brush (Like an eye shadow/concerlor brush) and then blend it out with a kabuki brush, and it spreads well without me having to stick my fingers in it.

Re: Maybelline: Dream Mousse (blush)
I used this product a long time ago when I was like a sophmore I think which was like 4 years ago. I had forgotten aout it until the other day while I was packing (I am moving) I saw it. I can't remember if I liked it or not, but I must have since a decent amount of the product was missing, though my sister was always in my makeup then so I dunno I might buy somemore or just try what is left though it is pretty old.

It didn't work for me, the color was totally unequal all over my cheek and couldn't get it well applied.
